Yep, usually the more original shows a network adds to the roster the quality dwindles. I remember when AMC only had three original shows and all of them were good.

All these shows are still airing. There's more but these are the shows i watch personally, and they are not mediocre. More great shows than most other networks.

Way more shows than i watch on any other network EVER except the glory days of hbo with sopranos, the wire, curb, etc.

Netflix is like a broadcast network at this point. CBS/NBC/ABC air like 20 hours of scripted or reality programming a week and we'd all admit that there's mediocrity in most of those shows. The only problem with that is that Netflix at it's lowest price is 7.99 while CBS/NBC/ABC are putting out content for FREE.

I wish Netflix took the cable/premium approach like HBO or even Hulu and only release good to great content but that's not what they want to do any more.
