Not really. They are working with what they got. The fact is that nobody can testify about those moments leading up to the shooting except Zimmerman. Yes he followed him but following somebody is not against the law under these circumstances. Even if he screamed out "Hey ****** we don't like your kind around here!", still not illegal. His story that Trayvon jumped out from behind some bushes and attacked him at least sets him on the right path to a self defense claim.

Now there is some question as to whether he went to far defending himself. Somebody's punching you and you shoot them? Did you HONESTLY believe your life was in danger, or were you just mad that he was kicking your ass? Might get a Manslaughter conviction.

We need to be real about this case...yes Zimmerman is a piece of shyt racist wannabe cop, but with the facts as they have been laid out, a 2nd degree murder conviction at this point is doubtful, and there is not much the prosecutors could have done different.

This is about the most rational, factual post that I've read here

Say I was on that jury, and I was the only black one. There is no way I would find him not guilty. Not cause of the case...but cause if I did I would be immortalized. Andre patton would be synonymous with c00n and uncle tom n shyt...would be terrible.

So you can just start fights with a nikka, then shoot them even if they are unarmed and claim self defense? :leon: It's that easy? You know how many nikkas are in prison for this very shyt. I know you watch the first 48.

why do fukkboys like you automatically assume any riots that come in the wake of an acquittal will target just black communities? you insult the intelligence of black people by suggesting we will limit the public expression of our anger to black communities. we will "riot" in white communities and make our feelings known in the face of white people.

you underestimate the rage that is brewing in the black community over this case. we are going to react, and it won't just be in black communities.

Well I can tell you this, I'm black and I won't do shyt because I didn't fall into the race baiting trap the media put everyone in. I live in a city (Detroit) where crime happens that make this case look like nothing, against our own race mind you, yet I see NO outrage from blacks on this scale. Selective outrage is a bytch....like your mother:birdman:

There are a lot of nikkas on the coli who think following somebody = starting a fight, especially under the law

I think those nikkas might be in for a shock

Everyone knows for an indisputable fact that Zimmerman followed Trayvon. But NOBODY knows for an indisputable fact that Zimmerman directly approached Trayvon after following him, or that he threatened Trayvon first in any way after they first met, or that he put hands on Trayvon first. That's the problem.

nikkas can believe whatever they want using personal bias and call it 'fact' to their friends, family and strangers on an internet forum. It don't work that way in a courtroom, though. And that's why Zimmerman might walk. :manny:

It is all related, what you witness in detroit and the treatment of trayvon, linked by a socio-economic dynamic that believes black life has no value in America. This is much deeper than just Zimmerman's guilt, which is why riots will happen - and they will be massive.

If you choose to sit on the sidelines, that's your problem. But do not assume that black anger towards an acquittal will be driven by our community falling to race baiting. That's another insult towards the intelligence of black America by you. We're smarter than that, and we know what this is about.

:ohhh: If Zimmerman is acquitted, do you see him overstepping his boundaries once again? He definitely looks stupid enough to do so.

9-11 told him not to engage.

Zimmerman left his vehicle. From this point on, Stand Your Ground works in Trayvon's favor.

George Zimmerman left his vehicle and approached Trayvon, after authorities told him not to pursue.

Trayvon was *approached* by someone who was told not to leave his vehicle by the authorities.

Trayvon, under the Stand Your Ground Law, was justifiably allowed to defend himself from the unknown assailant.

Irregardless of who started the fight, Zimmerman was forewarned by authorities to not leave his vehicle, which lead to the provocation of said incident. He was warned but *proceeded to engage anyways.* When he ignored 9-11 and stepped out of his vehicle, he forfeited any right to "defend" himself.

Those are the facts. It's as simple as Cain and Abel.
But some of you people would blame rape victims for having a hole to put it in. Disgusting. Let's be cereal here guys, not surreal.

Man, I only wish it was me he'd try it with. Only difference between me and Trayvon is I would have had Reese's. :wow:

Know your rights brehs.

I'm going to have to ask you to stop saying that. You know that you aren't black.

SMH @ all of these chumps trying to sideline defend Zimmerman. If you aren't 100% against that bloated wannabe security guard then you need to just leave the coli.
