What really bothers me is that a bunch of idiots off in the huffington post and other comment sections defend Zimmerman's right to "stand his ground" with a gun" but they don't defend Trayvon's right to stand his ground with dat hot a$$-whippin' he served up on Zim. A$$holes like that could be on the jury hiding behind false objectivity
Calling him thug and saying, "Well he was so tall, he didn't look 17". They tell their kids not to stop and talk to strangers, but when ol' boy was followed and approached by one, he was supposed to stop because Zimmerman somehow had some make believe authority over him
Last I heard, he had an all female jury (no sistahs) and they had to kick a juror off duty before the trial begins for saying that George could be innocent.
After the f*ckery that too place during the Casey Anthony case with the prosecutor grandstanding and losing the case, I don't think any thing is a forgone conclusion at this point
do you get the reason dude is likely dead now is that ass beating he served? if he would have ran home and banged on the door and got in the house he'd likely be alive. Zimmerman would have had to shoot him in the back and there'd be no justification for it. an ass beating is street justice but legally you can't do that.
doesn't matter if he was 17 size wise he was about as big as Zimmerman if not bigger. to me is i was on that jury i'd lock Zimmerman up for getting out of the car cause if he stays in the car the whole thing doesn't go down but he's not on trial for getting out of the car the question is did he murder Trayvon or was it self defense. even with the inconsistencies in his story it can still be proven he had head injuries and that fact is gonna probably save him.
one thing i will say is i think Trayvon beat dude's ass on his own accord. Zimmerman was shook he ain't want it with dude. that's why he didn't really do any fighting back (injury wise to Trayvon) and just shot him.

By your logic wouldnt Trayvon be the one that was standing his ground? How do u kno he didnt try to run home but Zimmerman caught up to him and pulled out that gun? All we kno is that Zimmerman followed that boy after being told by a dispatcher not too.
Zimmerman has a history of domestic violence, resisting an officer with violence, and battery of a law enforcement officer. How this guy was able to walk around with a loaded weapon is beyond me.
So we're supposed to trust the word of a woman beating, arrest resisting, neighborhood watchman carrying a loaded weapon to tell the truth about what happened that night

Once he called the police is was a wrap. They told him stay put and its on tape.
He had no reason to approach him, he wasn't in danger on the tape.
He's not a police office he can't approach anybody and ask them any damn thing
that gun don't come with a cape.
If there was no 911 call, he would get off, because he could easily say Trayvon attacked first, but the tape cleary shows he was not in danger and they told him not to pursue.
