I still think Westbrook begins the season with the Thunder unless he lets them know beforehand that he wont resign with them. Stranger things have happened but they should at least see if they can possibly resign Russell and build around him before they panic and trade him. I feel them trying to get something for him but what if he really wanted to stay?

The collapse happened because your best player was already looking ahead to jumping ship to the opponent. If KD isnt a bytchass snake the Thunder beat the Warriors, last season and this upcoming one.

No need to trade Adams. He's a great piece for the future, young as hell and perfectly complimentary, but he isnt gonna go out and win a bunch of games for you himself so you can still tank and keep him w/ the new rebuild.
breh i knew he is young like i literally know it but everytime my mind refuses to believe he is less than 25

he is 22 turning 23 next week

yeah def keep him

dumb question is there really no chance westbrook reups ?

I agree that we need to keep Adams. He's quickly becoming one of the better defenders among big men and his offensive game is progressing nicely. I don't really see a need to trade him with how young he is and the potential he has

I don't see him resigning because he's in his prime/ready to enter it and just lost his best chance at a title. Unless loyalty means more to him than a ship, he's gone

Where was he supposed to go? Management has already shown they will not do what it takes to make that team a championship caliber team. There's no depth, no team identity, and no
willingness to operate like a functioning franchise.

If the Thunder get the 2017 Nets pick, their team might look like this next year

Who cares
Dipo
Tatum
Giles
Adams

:ehh:
rather see them go after johnathan issac instead of tatum. sabonis might be ready to go, he got that bloodline. but i doubt russ leaving this season anyhow. they just trying to gauge the market to see if it's worth it. presti will get fired on spot in the compensation ain't worth the trade. the city fukked up over this one :mjcry:

Presti will be fine. He couldn't have predicted KD turning into a bytch & now his hand is basically forced to trade Russy if he can't get a commitment. Plus with the prospect of a half rebuild coming without Russy, you can't fire Presti knowing the draft is where your going to get moving back towards hopefully being good again, that's his shyt.

perhaps, but his trade game is suspect at best:patrice:in the event russ gets traded and it doesn't result in the thunder acquiring at least a top 3 protected pick and a player who can start right now i don't see how it would bode well for presti to whiff on this trade. he's done a mediocre job at overpaying players like kyle singler 5 mill a year and has tied up a roster spot for a player that could contribute right now and be more effective. he also paid kanter last year, yet was ready to move him as quick as possible just two weeks ago so he's been erratic and it's been to the detriment of this team. he hasn't really utilized the talent he's developed through the draft as much as he's drafted either. so losing westbrook, ibaka, and durant in one offseason is more than enough to get you canned.
