I liked the episode and thought they did a really good job transferring the story from the comic to the show.
I think this period of splintered storytelling focusing on certain members of the group each week is young to be a positive because it will give the show a chance to dig a little deeper with sone of the characters that haven't really gotten much spotlight or who's backstory hasn't been explored much.
They did fukk me up with Herschel's zombie head though. I was not expecting that at all.

agree..the 1st season was piff...but thats cuz frank darabont was runnin the show. Dude was makin sure everything was up to par.
