When you know better, you do better! A girl who wears weave constantly doesn't know how to take care of her own hair properly.

Disclaimer: If she's protective styling (some people prefer that) then that's different. But let's not pretend most weave wearers do it because of that.

I've told black women that they look better without weave and I have been met with crazy stares and harsh words

you nikkas buggin

the reason they lookin crazy at you is cause a chick wit good natural hair gonna get hollered at before her nappy head

no one likes a weave but you best believe these ugly heffas will wear em if they think more nikkas will holler at em

every time you're talking to a weave wearer, just stare at her hair. dont even look her in the eyes, just look at the hair hat and start sniffing around like you smell something foul. that's how i passive aggressively react to weave wearers. :ld:

if you guys really wanted to stop weave wearers. You should just walk right up to them and snatch it off their head. If this became common females would stop wearing weaves. :ld:

I dont have a problem with weaves per se. Reason 1 being its not my head, 2 being it really is just an accessory to a lot of women (men too i guess). What trips me out is those who put weave on such a pedastal or those who act like they cant be seen w/o one. Its weird and sad. And they usually are beautiful girls too with or w/o the weave, but they dont feel pretty w/o it.

Idk I just think theres more to those who are like that, than just liking a style. Then you have those who are damaging their hair due to weaves but then complain they cant "grow" hair.

:snoop: its whatever though.

No and Hell No
movements to grow your hair. cant believe its come to this.

shut up.. its comments like this that make thecoli seem like black women are damned if they do, damned if they don't.
It's sad actually :to: But the change is welcomed.

how is it sad? we're just embracing our sisterhood, learning to accept our natural. some of yall ni
its dope though.

Since there aren't that many hair products and techniques for women these days who don't use chemicals or use other "additions" then its a way for them to share tips and meet others who have done the same thing.

You gotta remember, these are still women who do shyt to impress other women. But if they can gain some self-esteem from it, more power to them.

What are you talking about? People in general do shyt to impress other people. Like most of these lames on here pretending to be alpha males to impress a bunch of other coli lames pretending to be alpha males.

something nobody ever discusses in these threads is that if a little child who is not familiar with that person's hair asks something like "why is your hair red"? "why is your hair yellow"....we all laugh including possibly the girl with the weave herself but when she would laugh we all know its gonna be an uncomfortable laugh like they are embarrassed...because they know its not natural...its some weird shyt....

imagine her being kidnapped or she goes missing and you have to describe her as a Black woman with purple hair.. :snoop:
