They need to work on changing those sentencing laws so cases like this don't happen again instead of worrying about this guy playing football.

Hate to keep giving this topic life but that's bad money. Making mandatory minimums for crime has never worked out for POC (see black folks). This countries judicial system has historically show a propensity to punish us a lot tougher in crimes that they give white folks a slap on the wrist for. Hell, look at that brother on death row in that shythole Missouri. Even with DNA evidence that would exonerate this guy, the state Supreme Court STILL didn't want to halt the execution. We gotta learn from the Clinton administration, fukk mandatory minimums
