I always have to call this out, but people don’t remember Phil Donahue had a short run on MSNBC before the invasion of Iraq. He was one of the few people on the air unapologetically anti-invasion who told the truth about the propaganda campaign. He had the most popular show on MSNBC but they still fired him because MSNBC didn’t want the anti-war label.

right after that MSNBC try to rebrand themselves as Fox News light. Thats literally what the Head of MSNBC said. So then they went out and hired all kinds of conservatives; people probably don’t remember them being on MSNBC anymore. Alan Keyes Michael Weiner Savage, Tucker Carlson, Joe Scarborough, Pat Buchanan, and about 5 others. They all ended up, sucking and falling off. Joe Scarborough got moved to mornings and did well there.
