Seems Crunchyroll is the best way to watch DB and DBZ if you prefer subbed. It's 4:3, looks good.

I always hated the Faulconer score.You'd have an emotional moment and here they are playing heavy rock music.
The Faulconer score has its hits and misses, but the amount of emotion it added to Trunks' arrival and Gohan defeating Cell is completely unmatched.
It arguably even made parts of the Buu saga better. Especially Super Buu's theme and the SSJ3 transformation.

The Saiyan and Namek Sagas were the best, although the Android/Cell Saga holds a lot of fond memories.
Don’t sleep on the OG Dragonball though. The 22nd Budokai, King Piccolo saga, and 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai were all good story arcs too.
