Bron is like a more athletic Magic/Malone or even Magic/Kemp hybrid than anything resembling MJ. Kobe is MJ's successor. Bron is Magic's successor.

MJ vs Bron is like comparing Dirk to Jokic. Both big white dudes with MVP + ring, but they weren't asked to do the same shyt and have different skill sets.

I'll say this though - no one would ever say Kobe >> Jordan.....but you can at least have an argument for Bron vs MJ.

Its a lazy comparison to compare Bron to Magic since its based on them being 6'8/6'9 with PG skills. But nobody had to suppress their games to fit Magic while Dwyane Wade, Bosh, And K Love all had to suppress or change their games to fit Bron.

The only argument for Bron being better than MJ is the lazy analysis that only looks at numbers that says he averaged more assists/rebounds thus he's better at both. :unimpressed:

When MJ played in a Bron Ball like system he put up 35 8 and 8 and got MVP/DPOY.. How can Lebron compare to that? And Kobe is the better comparison because, again, players didn't have to suppress their game to play with him like they did with Lebron...

Bosh and Love had to change their games because they were playing with TWO superstars, and Wade had to change his game because 1) his knees and 2) he and LeBron are literally the exact same player with damn near the exact same strengths and weaknesses, which made their presence redundant. But LeBron's a little better at most of their shared strenghts and is more durable, therefore it made more sense to make him the primary ballhandler while Wade, a more natural scorer, became more of an off-ball player and a secondary ballhandler instead of the "Your turn/my turn" shyt they were doing in year 1. Hierarchy matters.

Also the 35/8/8 MVP point...you're literally combining two different seasons :mjlol: He averaged 35/6 in his MVP year and 32/8/8 the next season with no MVP...and people bring up the triple double streak, but don't mention the Bulls went sub-.500 during that stretch. Just because MJ was racking up the numbers doesn't mean he was running the offense well. LeBron had a similar stretch in 2010 where Mo WIlliams was hurt and he had to become a full on point guard...the result was LeBron averaging 32/7/11 while the injury riddled Cavs went 11-1 and performed even better in that stretch than they did with Mo in the lineup :yeshrug:

You decided to bring stats in the conversation but anybody who watches both guys can tell you Bron is just plain better at running offenses than MJ. If MJ could do what Bron does just as well, the Bulls wouldn't have lost 7 of his 13 games as point guard
