Gronk is a 4.7, talking bullshyt thinking LeBron ain't significantly faster than fukking Gronk. :mjlol:

You know who else is a 4.7 though? Anquan Boldin. :francis:

Larry Fitzgerald was a 4.6 guy. Dez Bryant and Antonio Brown were around 4.5.

LeBron coming in around 4.5-4.6 would have been right in the range of plenty of tall elite WRs, except that he is MUCH taller than any of them on top of that. His speed woulda been just fine to play WR or TE at an elite level. You talking all this shyt about the DE chipping him and Kam (another 4.7 guy) hawking him....what happens when you put him out wide and he's just on an island against some 5'11" cover corner?
Anquan was never a verticle reciever. Larry was hands and elite routes, a technical reciever. Dez was the most physical receiver. Elite for that, not for his red zone play and AB dont run a 4.5 and even if he did his split is RB/KR quick...but he didn't run a 4.5 regardless. And I already said what would happen, on an island, the majority of the time is gonna favor the DB and because there ain't no way to spin 4.6 to be anything but, he'd likely run a split. Depends on whos throwing though, their line and who the other receivers are. We ain't gotta agree.

AB ran 4.48 in the Combine. :unimpressed:

LeBron gonna be in there with a 4.5-4.6 and the quarterbacks in that article said LeBron ran fantastic routes, considering his bball IQ and chemisty/foresight on the court and how much more complex basketball is than WR decisions not to mention how good his footwork is in much tighter spaces, I have a hard time imagining him not being an elite route-runner. Plus being ambidextrous and having every indication of great hands.

You can slot LBJ in at the TE, make him your possession receiver, he'd easily be the greatest red zone WR ever, AND more often than not he's gonna be there on vertical routes with a little guy running along him stride by stride but not being able to do shyt about it. Pick your poison.

He’s be beasting in his 17th year:dwillhuh:

You can't go straight to the NFL from HS so he would be in his 14th year.

Jerry played 20 years at WR. Larry Fitzgerald is older than Bron and still playing. And LeBron has proven that durability is no issue for him.

He's still beasting in the NBA. Yes, he'd still be beasting in the NFL.

so not only have you concluded he’d be just as good as Jerry rice or Larry fitz (you cant play that long unless you’re A1 elite) you think he’d be just as durable although they’re two different sports :dead:

LeBron is basically a football player that is playing basketball.

No he’s not. Bron spent his Miami years flopping and getting tossed by Nazr. He runs over players that can’t hit him back. You act like this nikka would run over a LB or SS the way he does wing players :mjlol:

You asked me about durability. LeBron is the best conditioned athlete we've ever seen. I'm simply pointing out that playing WR in the NFL at age 35 is not impossible. Especially when as just mentioned, we're talking about the best conditioned athlete we've ever seen.

Durability-wise he's one of a kind in his sport. In football what we're talking about isn't even out of the question because as just mentioned there are others who have done it.

Could LeBron still be a supreme athlete at age 35? Yes! Because he IS still a supreme athlete at age 35.

As far as his skills that's what this thread is about. He was the #1 rated player in a state that put out good talent. He had a faster 40 time in HS than Larry Fitzgerald had at the combine. His HS coach played in the NFL with James Lofton (HOF WR) and Sterling Sharpe (should be HOF WR) and says LeBron had the gift. There are a lot of athletes who could have success in more than one sport. We're talking about one of the best athletes ever and he has film.

Stop with this hating for no reason shyt breh.

WHAT??? :dahell:

These take extreme skill sets. And for boxing you must be able to take punches squarely on the chin from 250lb men and clear your head within milliseconds.

I hear you but you have to consider at 6'8" there would be LBs/ DBs/safeties targeting his thighs/knees for 14 NFL years. His top end explosiveness would not hold up for that long with that many shots to his legs/knees.

They said he couldn't fly through the air weighing 260 for very long too. Said he couldn't continue to be elite in year 17.

LeBron has proven he's not an average dude. He's not even an average elite athlete. He's broken every mold we've ever seen so I'm just gonna trust the 17 years of supreme durability that I've witnessed.
