Brons knew his window in Miami had come to a close. Although it hasn't exactly been smooth sailing in Cleveland, it was always the better short and long term move. Wade's time as being a dominant scorer is basically done. It wouldn't make any sense for Bron to depend on him like that for another season, if he wanted to win another title.
I hear ya.

I still say if Wade had stayed healthy the two could have been one of the top 3 best duos ever. Both were great finishers and both were great passers/distributors and neither of them let their ego of being the main scorer get in the way like it happened with Shaq and Kobe.
But i guess it wasnt meant to be. :manny:
The first year they looked great together and individually dominant even tho the team struggled out the gate, then got into a grove only to eventually lose to the Mavs. Second year Wade started getting hurt. Third year he came back out of shape like a mother fukker. 4th year he made an effort to get in better shape but it was a struggle.it's not that he dropped the weight that you are starting to see him as a top 5-7 player at the position again. Guess he's realizing what Riley told his ass all these years: keep your weight down below 210-215 and you'll extend your career.

If Wade was even 1/2 the fitness freak Ray Allen is he'd still be the best SG in the league no doubt

:francis: stop it..he is still going back to the finals..that heat team..is going nowhere.
Let's put Heat and Cavs in perspective, Heat a playoff team without LeBron and Cavs not mentioned at all. Heat didn't make the playoffs last season but loss Bosh and was a few games outside of the 8th seed. So, easy on that noise, brehs. Bron may become a Laker to close out his career because the money opportunities will be endless.

And I have some news for yall.... Wiggins aint helping Bron beat them West teams

But all that cap space from him being on his rookie contract would of sure helped.

It's not a coincidence that the Spurs and GS are both teams where dudes all took pay cuts and they are more talented overall.

Wiggins on a rookie contract would of gave the Cavs space to go after other talented players. Instead they went over the cap to pay their vet big 3. They then were forced to give dudes like shump 4/40 because it was either use players birds right to overpay or pick up inferior vet min players.

Mismanagement of cap space is the real Achilles of the cavs

Miami was under .500 and were slipping even before Bosh nearly died. Wade just turned 34 and Kyrie is 24 in March. It was an easy decision on the part of Lebron to join a situation with star players years younger than himself, and an owner with the willingness to go far past the luxury tax to do so.

That's not his goal or he'd stayed in Miami. He wants to be the best team, period. It's been solidified that they aren't.
So having the best record in the east isn't his goal at this point:what: He cant win the chip in January so this is about the best he can do for now. The got till June to fix their problems. One blowout before the all star break doesn't mean the season is a failure.

Ironically, this season has been Wades healthiest in years. He's skinny, and quick off the ball. He's only missed one game so far this season, and he only missed it because his son was in the hospital....

Kyrie's been unhealthier than Wade has ever been at anytime in his career. And Bosh is an overall better player than Love..

TYRONE GA!
they are nothing alike NOTHING... spent the time arguing with my brother that bosh is the perfect team mate for bron..

the only similarity is they both stretch the floor but bosh can put it on the floor...defend...and DUNK... plus his back to the basket is better...

love was overhyped for his rebound... its his undoing.

That is what I meant breh.

Problem is Heat are a top 5 team in the East and that's with a bunch of guys playing with each other for the first time. Take LeBron off this Cavs team they aren't making the playoffs.

That's the point I made but they're on a high of being a big fish in a little pond until they're thrown in the ocean in June if they make it.
