I feel you on a lot of what you're saying...but the game still slows down deep into the playoffs.....unless I'm wrong and someone wants to show stats...but the pace isn't all run and gun in the playoffs and it OFTEN becomes a half court game in the playoffs...not to the extent that it was during the 90s...but the pace slows down in the playoffs and defensive intensity does pick up.

It does because those games tend to be close, close scoring games, usually teams like to set-up and slow things down to control clock and close games. The thing is the fastet teams like San Antonio and Golden State still have great halfcourt sets and can play any tempo. It's not just about being slow and being fast all the time.

Atlanta has Miami's number and basically plays a system very similar to san antonio for example

Fair enough...

But just to be clear because you seem to be missing the point. it's not "just stats" its HISTORICAL NBA numbers he is putting up...

He leads the league with 3.97 bpg..

The NEXT person on the list is Anthony Davis with 2.49..

Its not even close.. Like I said this kind production leads to many more extra possessions so its up to he teammates to do that.. and once they get back Dragic they will have someone who can create on the fast break.. and they will be back to playing normal

They may be a trade away to get a three point shooter but Im telling you they are close.. And trust me the Knicks and the Bulls could not fukk with them in a 7 game series.. Your crazy AF if you think so.. KP is good but he is no Whiteside.. .. And if he wants you matchup with Bosh :mjlol:... Melo will have to carry them and that's a big task.. Like I said Whiteside is a force in the paint :wow:

And the Bulls ?
B1UplbNCcAAHExL.jpg
:mjlol:

And clevlands biggest enemy is themselves.. They chemistry wont allow them to make it..

And fukk all the Atlanta Rah Rah.. They' re only two game ahead of the heat so calm down with all that :rudy:

.

Come playoff time WhiteSide gone show you :banderas:

Atlanta would shred this team. I guess you're one of those people that thinks a rockhead stat-stuffer like whiteside is gonna do anything assuming the Heat even make the playoffs.

His individual stats don't mean a goddamn thing if it's not translating to wins

I'm a Heat fan and I still think going back to CLE was the right move for his legacy... If he can pull it off.

I didn't like the way he left Miami but it's a business and GMs screw players all the time so when the reverse happen you can only :manny:
And like I said when he left I was disappointed but I understood. Because being an immigrant , the desire to "go home" is something I can relate to. I know that wasn't the only reason he left but that part hit home for me so I'm at peace with it.

Yes I know he grew up in Akron. But same shyt.

we made these threads like crazy in 2014. We told them boys Love/Kyrie were just as injury prone as Bosh & Wade..

The difference is Bosh/Wade were proven champs and durable when you needed them to be...

Whiteside would've been even better with Bron there. There would be no need for Greg Odens and other washed Centers...

Gaol was ready to sign :wow:

No point in making these threads anymore. He may leave again but it won't be Miami. He's got to learn to weather storms and stop running

I feel this post and would agree if the CLE franchise was stronger.

It's becoming clear now that he won in Miami because of a strong front office and players who weren't intimidated by him. He really needs someone to tell him No and when Pat did that he bounced.

Miami is still a strong team (clearly not a perennial threat at the moment) that could make the offs as a top 3 seed without Bron. When he left Cle the franchise went right back into the dump.

The variables work against him in CLE because he really isn't a good coach/GM/Owner.

He needs the best situation and CLE isn't that. If KD ends up in Washington next year the Wizards could end up becoming a consistent threat to CLE making the finals year in/out

You failed to mention the fact that they didn't face a team in 2012 and 2013 like the current Spurs and Warriors.

Man That Spurs team was tough breh

I can't take anything away from that Miami wave. That was a tough team. The way they bounced back from the Dallas debacle (Which was Bron's fault :mjlol: ) and beat up the league in 12... The 27 game winning streak in 13

Those 13 Spurs were out for blood and Miami took their souls. That's what lead to them playing possessed in 14

Had he stayed down Pat would've found a way to reload. His challenge the rest of his career will be weathering storms. Now I see what Pat meant after the finals loss in 14

Bron runs when the going gets tough and he doesn't get his way

That's why CLE is destined to fail

I'm just saying none of the Heat teams he was on would be favored versus the current Warriors or Spurs.

I remember watching the heat play teams and everyone from the best to the worst would bring their A game to beat them

You don't see shyt like that in the regular season

Miami was tough

And Wade starting to beast up again this year:banderas:

Oh yeah i said this many times; Pat will not relinquish total control of that team until he's good and ready to part ways.

And it's not just LeBron. Shaq too wanted a lot of say in the direction of the team and Riley wasnt willing to give in to his demands and thats how their relationship started to deteriorate.

Riley and Wade's relationship has been horrible since 2007. It got worse when Wade felt Riley quit on the team at the end of the 2008 season. But Wade trusts Riley to make the best move for the franchise to thrive and maximize their (the franchise and by contrast, Wade) potential to remain in contention so Wade puts up with it.

So dont get it twisted. Most start want some level of control. Majic did it. Jordan did it. Shaq did it in Orlando and LA. CLE's problem is that i dont think they have anyone in the front office who has credibility like Riley to stand up to him without getting killed in the press

yup!

Bro had a mental lapse when he left. It's like he contradicted his original reason for leaving.

He left a franchise that listened to any and everything he wanted and all it did was get him knocked out of the playoffs routinely. Dude gets that call from Wade and Miami welcomes him with open arms.

So now I'm hearing if Pat would've succumb to letting his homies have all access Lebron would still be in a Heat uniform? So you had to much control in CLE and didn't win anything so a legit franchise puts you in the position to win and leave you after they wouldn't submit or forfeit control to you because..................

Miami retooled fast. Very inconsistent so far this year but if they hit a stride could be very dangerous in a weak ECF
