The exact same thing can be said about the Cavs ... I mean seriously JR, Love, and overpaid and over rated Triston Thompson aren't taking them anywhere..

The Heat are just pacing themselves kinda like they did in 06 with Shaq and them. But they are built for the playoffs ..

Outside of Kyrie the Cavs are garbage and they got exposed nationally by GS last night by for me it showed they had bigger problems a few nights ago when Kryie hit the game winning 3 vs Dallas and LeBron declined to take the WIDE open ft line jumper that could have won it as well...

Whiteside is making NBA history right now (its just not a national story yet).. Bosh is back and playing well, D Wade is still D Wade...Deng is ok...Dragic is hurt now but he is playing well also when healthy..

Gerald green is the only person who actually sucks and gets too much minutes. .. but my point is they have less holes then the Cavs..
I dont watch Atlanta much but they aren't making much noise.. and the Bulls problem is with the construction of the team.. Rose is garbage.. Noah is gone, Gasol is old, and Butler is publicly beefin with the coach so they are out of contention for me too..

I mean Cavs might actually make it, but I feel like Miami has a better team and just aren't covered as much so they are flying under the radar

Yeah, you're right. Not like I watch tons of heat games and bet hundreds of dollars a night on basketball or anything.

The Heat suck dikk. Atlanta or Boston would beat them in a 7 game series. Book it.

You CANNOT win in this league in 2016 playing dinosaur ball the like the heat do. The better-coached teams that run super-fast offenses like Boston and Atlanta will destroy them. Miami doesn't have the pace to contend if their isolation sets aren't scoring, and their defense is pathetic. It's as if they're trying to get Spo fired.

Could actually happen. Miami is pathetic. That's my squad, but I can't respect gutless, quitter bullshyt. Their effort lately has been pitiful. Not sure what the fukk is going on in that lockerroom. It's not like they don't have talent, it's just the effort and chemistry are not that. And people like @MGM who I can't imagine watch any Heat games think they're a good squad.

They're not. They just do not play good basketball whatsoever. And they lack an identity. Whiteside is a stat stuffer that is putting up cool numbers while the team loses in blowout fashion all the time while playing one of the slowest paces in the league. This isn't 1999. You don't win with a guy like Whiteside. To survive in this league you need lots of versatile players and high IQ players. Teams are too well-coached to get by on sheer brute force or athleticism anymore.

I feel you on a lot of what you're saying...but the game still slows down deep into the playoffs.....unless I'm wrong and someone wants to show stats...but the pace isn't all run and gun in the playoffs and it OFTEN becomes a half court game in the playoffs...not to the extent that it was during the 90s...but the pace slows down in the playoffs and defensive intensity does pick up.

It's not a coincidence that the Spurs and GS are both teams where dudes all took pay cuts and they are more talented overall.

Wiggins on a rookie contract would of gave the Cavs space to go after other talented players. Instead they went over the cap to pay their vet big 3. They then were forced to give dudes like shump 4/40 because it was either use players birds right to overpay or pick up inferior vet min players.

Mismanagement of cap space is the real Achilles of the cavs

They would still be over the cap if you swapped Wiggins with Love.
