Facts Bron’s teams were filled with one-dimensional pieces who could shoot 3s but couldn’t create their own shots or facilitate. If you replaced Bron with 2019 Ben Simmons after Bron left the Cavs in 2018, that Cavs team still would’ve still been a playoff team.
First of all, you're replacing Bron with a borderline all-star. Jordan was replaced by some bench pieces in 1994 and the Bulls still won nearly 60 games. Replace Bron with Mike Dunleavy and Joe Ingles or some shyt and see if the Cavs replicate the same success without Bron.

Secondly, no they wouldn't :mjlol: There would be a minimum of 10-15 less wins. The 2018 Cavs needed Lebron's volume scoring to win games and Ben Simmons at his peak was like a 15 PPG scorer.

Ya'll doing a bunch of mental gymnastics to avoid confronting reality: MJ played on the strongest team in the weakest decade in NBA history.

Somebody else already explained that the Bulls had a much better coach and a system that could thrive without Jordan. That doesn’t take away from Jordan’s greatness. I was responding to people pointing out that Cavs collapsed after Bron left. Those other shooters on the Cavs would’ve thrived and made up for the shot attempts in the hypothetical scenario of replacing Bron with Ben Simmons. Again, somebody pointed out that those Cavs teams were only built to win around Bron, unlike the Bulls teams which were built around a system.

Once again, I need you to understand that you are seriously arguing that a rookie
:russell: Deflect deflect deflect.

Pippen stepped into the role of MJ and Kukoc/Myers stepped into the role Pippen once had. You can twist this reality all you want but its still the reality. Then the bulls also had BJ Armstrong/Horace Grant increasing their offensive production as well as adding Steve Kerr. Instead of addressing what's being said in plain English, you twist it to "yer saying that Peat Myurz becayme MJ"
:heh:

Its a lazy analysis just like judging value by record is. If we just look at record after a person is gone then that means MJ is less valuable than Horace Grant. It means Kawhi, who won 58 games and a championship with the raptors was less valuable than Marc Gasol/Ibaka since w/o Kawhi the raptors won still 50 games yet when Gasol/Ibaka left after that, the raptors only won 27 games. It means Elgin Baylor wasnt a valuable player because he retired ringless 9 games into the season, and the Lakers won a championship. Its lazy analysis that's you're only making to throw dirt on MJ. No logic/consistency
It's like removing Giannis from the Bucks,
Which PF on the bucks can dribble like a guard, pass, and defend? MJ scored, facilitated and defended and the bulls had another high level HOF player that could do the same. So they put Pippen into the role of MJ while having Kukoc/Myers to step into the role of Pipp. None of your examples have a high level player that could do the same things the star player could even if to a lesser degree
Lastly, remember that Jordan could hardly win a single game
A fan of a player who hopped team to team to play with different stars/superstars trying to clown MJ for not being able to win without another star against the 5 HOFer Celtics or 3/4 HOFer Pistons?
:mjlol::unimpressed:
The Thunder had prime Westbrook who averaged 28, 7, and 9 and the same core role players they had with KD that won 60 games the season prior. The Celtics had THREE HOFERS (two top 75 players) that have been playing with each other for years.
Westbrook could shoot? He was a 6'10 solid defender too? :ohhh:

What wing player did the Celtics have that could shoot, rebound and pass while being 6'10? :jbhmm:

If in the playbook MJ is A and Pipp is B, MJ going away made Pipp A and Kukoc/Myers B. None of your examples have another player with similar skills/size being able to go from B to A in the playbook:coffee:
