LeBron is 40 years old… he’s literally doing the public a favor playing as well.

Yall LeGBT nikkas cant control how the public feels no matter how hard u try. :mjlol: Forcing his bullshyt narratives and his son on the public isnt doing anyone a favor, people are tired of it.

The only reason we’re talking about the Lakers is Bron.

Before that yall were the pelicans :mjlol:

2025 and nikkas still saying this dumbass shyt :laff:

We were tops in the league in national TV games during the rebuilding period and Lonzo Ball/BBB alone was getting talked about and had attention everywhere.

But go ahead and tell us more about how the Lakers popularity tanked to rock bottom levels before Bron :laff::laff::laff:

Y’all also had a worse record than the pelicans :mjlol:

The team struggled during the mid to late 2010s, during which they suffered the longest playoff drought in franchise history, failing to qualify for the postseason for six seasons. Before that stretch, they had missed the playoffs only five times in their entire existence up to 2013.

The Lakers' fortunes turned around following the signing of LeBron James in the summer of 2018 and a trade for Anthony Davis in 2019. The team finished the 2020 regular season as the first seed in the Western Conference for the first time since 2010 and won the 2020 NBA Finals, their first championship since 2010.

Why does Kobe get an excuse for being washed, but LeBron doesn’t? He’s 40 years old. Most people are retired or bench warmers by the time they hit 35. I’m not expecting a 40 year old veteran to play like Ja Morant and win championships. I’m just enjoying the final season.

Uhhh maybe cause Kobe got washed by tearing his achilles while putting the entire team on his back :what:

And the LAkers got criticized plenty over the final contract given to Kobe. And you can easily go back to Laker team threads from that time period across several forums and many laker fans were saying we need Kobe to go in order to move on to a new era.

Whereas Bron out here running Klutch PR bullshyt year after year, season after season. Got the franchise wrapped up in his sons bullshyt.

The fact yall act so obtuse about the clear differences just shows yall nikkas really got some weird emotional attachment to this nikkas Bron's existence or something. Kobe wasn't imposing a whole litany of extra bullshyt on the franchise. But Bron is still, to this day, forcing media narratives upon us daily but yall weirdos still crying about Kobe who went out like a fukking solider.

Kobe fans also weren’t spending everyday talking about how Kobe was still dominating at this age compared to Jordan and because of that, that makes him the GOAT. Bron Stans have the perfect setup. When he has a good game, they can say he’s 40 doing this and when he sucks, they can say he’s 40 doing this. Honestly Bron has been a shell for a while. He’s perfected being able to score 25 pts and get 7 assists but he’s not playing defense, not hustling on plays and expending very minimal effort. And now it’s getting more obvious because the points aren’t there either. To be fair to him though, playing back to back games at 40 is ROUGH especially when you spent the offseason in the Olympics. He didn’t get to have the summer off. He needs to be real with himself and retire soon. I’m not a Bron Fan but he’s had a good career. He’s top 5 to a lot of people and I have him top 7. He did good.

All facts

For the bolded though, it's Bron's choice to do this 82 games thing. Just another thing he wants to do to shift a narrative. AInt nobody asking him to play back to backs.

How dare you use facts and logic here, in kobe final season he played 66 games averaging over 28 minutes per game and the lakers were last in the western conference and were seen as jokes, for comparison lebron has only played over those number of games twice since joining the lakers and when healthy the lakers have won a championship, always been in the playoff contention and were in the conference finals a few seasons ago, the never benefited from the play in tournament because with the former rules they would have been qualified by default. The rule in sports has always been if your on the court/field and suited up you are healthy and thus subject to criticism , spans over several leagues, so the injury excuse plays little to no weight at all, thats not even to factor in lebron has been out for long spells and durations under the lakers tenure as well and has had several injury issues and yet still had sucess in the waning stages of his career.
