Alright.
I mean it seems like Lebron doesn't like Kareem.
From what I've read, Kareem does seem to like Lebron as a player and role model, though he has been critical of Lebron over off-the-court stuff like the narrative of "The GOAT" and things like that.

I would hope that Lebron would recognize the gravity of an achievement like breaking Kareem's scoring record, and address it appropriately -- even if he might not see eye to eye with Kareem on a personal level or something.
He spoke about breaking the record last week.

Even if he doesn't see eye to eye with Kareem personally saying he has no personal relationship with him and no thoughts on Kareem's comments on Kyrie is its own independent answer.

Crazy how Kareem has slowly become a bad guy for doing the same thing he use to get praised for doing :dead:
Kareem use to be the anti-Jordan, willing to sacrifice favor with cacs and the media to speak truth to power. Now nikkas hate him for not having his head up these modern players asses :stopitslime: Now he's "bitter", that's the same trickology they pulled with Isiah
Unlike these new nikkas Kareem was doing activism when it wasn't a Nike check (no pun), branding, and PR attached to it. His outspokenness literally effected his legacy and this is the thanks he gets now :ohhh:

I love what Lebron has done on the court and continues to do off the court. However, he didn't jump off the front porch with the activism as people make it seem. He definitely made sure his brand and finances wouldn't take a huge hit before he started taking a stand on social issues. How he handled Tamir Rice situation will always leave a black eye for me. 12-year-old Tamir Rice was executed in his own backyard in Cleveland, the same city where it was estimated that Lebron brought in $200 million in spending power to the downtown district. No doubt in my mind with Lebron's celebrity and the economical surplus he was bringing to Cleveland that his voice could have led to some change or at least some form of Justice for Tamir. However, as soon as Lebron starting get pressed with the issue he immediately hit the :whoa: and started
juelz-talking.gif
"This issue is bigger than me" "Tragedies matter more than an individual" s" I'm not 'on Top' of or knowledgeable enough about the situation to give a statement :what:. I don't care what Cap says or does now. When he barely had a pot to piss in and had everything to lose he has always stood 10 toes down for what he he fel was right. Even as a young 19-year-old supporting Muhammad Ali ironically in the same city of Cleveland in which Tamir Rice was executed and where Lebron has played the majority of his career at.

THIS, and fukk what these c00ns on here, are talkin. I'm a Bron guy, but LB started making these political statements, and taking stances, once it became FASHIONABLE....PERIOD.

His hoe ass, was quiet as a mouse, on a lot of issues. It's funny, how fast, folks forget about shyt. As far as Kareem, he can be bitter, at times, but 9/10...there's truth in what he says. Kyrie has a RIGHT, to take his stance, but he's been buffoonish, at times. Bron (with his power & influence), has been a fukkin mouse at times. Specifically, when his voice really mattered, and WAS NEEDED! To be clear...MJ is guilty of this fukk shyt too. :mjpls:

With great power, comes GREATER RESPONSIBILITY. In 2022, I'm lookin at ANY nkka funny, who doesn't put "his money, where is mouth is." These nkkas got money, ON TOP OF MONEY. Don't skirt issues (involving black folks), then double-back, when it's convenient, for your image, or marketibility. FOH wit that shyt. :camby:

Bron wasn't gettin vocal, TIL after the Kaepernick shyt, and SPECIFICALLY, after the George Floyd shyt (when other ahyt, BEEN happening). He had to get the green, from cacs. He made a calculated move, to switch up, once the social injustice shyt, became trendy. AND he STILL makes vague/cryptic statements on issues, instead of standing ten-toes down, at times. It comes off contrived, and phony.

The nkka got power, influence, and a war-chest of money. They can't "cancel" LeBron at this point, so he can speak his mind. A lot of nkkas don't peep game tho. :mjpls:

Lol it's so easy to say chit like this when you aren't the one doing anything to lift up your community yourself.

It's strange to me people will bash how active certain people are within the community but I'll be damned if I never see those same people out there giving their own time to causes

That man Kareem was def standing up for us when they was taking nyggas out
Yall really just look at Kareem as some old guy. Like you don't know anything about his upbringing, his life or his career.
How he handled Tamir Rice will always leave a black eye for me.

I keep seeing this sentiment throughout the thread, can any of you elaborate on what the fukk Kareem actually did besides public statements and the 1968 Olympic boycott that has you defending him so strongly? Please educate me because you have nikkas itt condemning LeBron for picking his battles and not being vocal on every single issue while his foundation has provided countless resources (computer centers, libraries, gyms) and built an entire school for at risk kids that has and will change thousands of lives in his hometown. Real change not activism, articles and symbolic positions. And I'm not being sarcastic, seriously, I'm relatively young so I don't know, what has Kareem done that is on LeBron's level when it comes to material change in peoples lives.

How do you know, I'm not doing anything to uplift my community, white man? :mjlol:

You don't know me from a hole in the wall, nor what I'm doing. You sound stupid (and quit deflecting).

You need to read on your own. Plus, this whole "this is real activism" angle you're creating is hilarious especially when Kareem celebrated Bron for doing those things.

I do. And of course youre going to find more on a modern day athlete who is pr fashioned up to the teeth.

Again….you dudes just shoot from the hip and expect folks to do the work for you. Your intentions are clearly to downgrade any work Kareem has done over the years. Man spent his life getting under cacs skin and yall are now doing the laziest work for them.

Its the lack of your intellectual curiosity that’s clear, wanting things presented to you. :manny:

Stop pretending to be genuinely curious while asking others to fill that fake void.
