Crazy how Kareem has slowly become a bad guy for doing the same thing he use to get praised for doing :dead:
Kareem use to be the anti-Jordan, willing to sacrifice favor with cacs and the media to speak truth to power. Now nikkas hate him for not having his head up these modern players asses :stopitslime: Now he's "bitter", that's the same trickology they pulled with Isiah
Unlike these new nikkas Kareem was doing activism when it wasn't a Nike check (no pun), branding, and PR attached to it. His outspokenness literally effected his legacy and this is the thanks he gets now :ohhh:
He's not playing anymore. I don't think people are holding out for his opinion like that. It's like ex presidents (not named trump) speaking on every political issue. Sometimes it's best to realize your not in the limelight anymore and take a backseat.

Knowing Kareem he’s gonna write an article about this shyt by Friday.
Lol probably.

I mean Kareem will literally criticize Lebron UNPROMPTED. This happened earlier this year, when Kareem was there to give Melo the NBA Social Justice Champion Award and they asked Kareem what his thoughts were on Lebron potentially passing his record.

He went on this long monologue how Lebron is basically fake and you can never tell what side of the fence he's really on and things he's done are beneath someone like him....... Like brah we just asking you about him potentially passing your record, he just went unprompted into chitting on Lebron

Well, that only stands to reason given the racial and political outlook (most importantly, the forum of the sport, itself) has decades of generational gaps. What resonates during Cap's time, doesn't quite now, and that's why you've got folks feeling some type of way to where they're giving him the 'old head treatment', especially when whatever criticism Cap throws out there often runs parallel to what the talking heads are saying.

I think the most unfortunate thing in all this is, how Cap has become an effigy (particularly on this board), specifically made by the Trojan Horse ass nxggas who're leaning so far to the right that they don't know what is up from down, that they have no other option to convince everyone they're fighting against Both Sides.

Kareem has praised LeBron on and off the court repeatedly over the past decade.

He criticized LeBron on COVID last year. And Kareem is calling out Kyrie for putting foolishness out there.

Did that clip last week take place before or after Kareem’s Kyrie comments?
Before. Kareem just posted his column a couple days ago

I don’t think he’s said anything out of bounds about Lebron. He definitely never called him stupid like he called Kyrie. It’s disrespectful for Lebron to treat Kareem in such a fashion. A Laker and NBA icon :mjpls:
Fuk that old nikka. He's older than me. Talk so much uppity shyt while his son out here playing Michael Meyers in his neighborhood.
