Kendrick Perkins and Stuart Scott stan for him as much as anyone, but the question isn't who LeBron's supporters are. Every superstar has stans of every skin color. There isn't a single superstar in the NBA who doesn't have white stans in the media. The question is who his haters are. And the people who passionately hate LeBron to the point of mental illness are overwhelmingly white.

According to his haters he runs his entire team's roster, forces his coach and GM to obey his will, sidelines every superstar who he ever plays with into a mere role player, has singlehandedly changed the NBA, has dozens of media figures including former players who do nothing other than follow his instructions, runs a sports agency on the side that is calling the shots for entire franchises, not to mention his business and philanthropic empires. Oh, and of course he's one of just 2 players in NBA history with 4 MVPs and 4 Finals MVPs while holding the all-time playoff scoring and soon regular season scoring records.

Issue 1: He was donned with the name "The Chosen One" before even entering the league......... And LeBron embraced it. The nerve.....

Issue 2: He was being proped as the face of the league while Kobe was still in his prime. And won more MVPs during that time. Again: the nerve....

Issue 3: Not only was he proped as the face of the league but sports media outlets began pushing the "Lebron or MJ" conversion.... Again while Kobe was in his prime. The muthafukkin nerve.....

Issue 4: this was all being done while Lebron was displaying a style of play that didn't have the aesthetics of Jordan/Kobe. He didn't have the ball-handling skills, scoring ability, assassin-like approach and overall silky game like Jordan/Kobe. We're visual creatures... we like our heroes to look/act the part. People had a hard time gravitating to his game.

Simply put, LeBron entered the league at a time when people were still reminiscing over Jordan.... and Kobe was restoring that feeling.
