Man it aint Lebron fault he plays in this era,if thats the case Oscar's numbers are inflated because he was playing against less athletic players, while Lebron playing against the best athlete's ever. Get outta here:camby:

Nah Breh I'm saying Oscars numbers are inflated cause it was a track meet in the 60s. I agree Lebron is MUCH better, my argument is for him.

So Elgin's numbers are inflated even though Bron has a higher usage rate than a championship PG? You didn't see the nikka taking 30+ shots a game? :deadrose:

http://www.si.com/nba/2015/05/26/lebron-james-cavaliers-hawks-usage-rate-nba-finals-kyrie-irving

That was that 1 series where Kyrie, and Love went down. Historically Lebron is incredibly efficient, and will resume it when everyone is back. Baylor aint win shyt, and Bron at 30 is already top 5, with like 3-4 more all-nba 1st team season left in him.

:mjlol: at the bolded.

It's interchangeable, my top 5 is fluid to be honest, but these are a short list of players I'd rank over Lebron:

MJ
Kareem
Magic
Bird
Russell
Wilt
Oscar
Kobe
Shaq
Duncan

These are the types of players I'd say Lebron is more or less on par with:

Olajuwon
Drexler
Isaiah
etc.

I would say at this point Lebron is definitely top 25, after that it depends on what you look at. Here's my criteria:

Degree of difficulty faced
- E.g. the 80s NBA, the 90s Eastern Conference, and the '00s Western Conference were all full of GOAT type teams

Who didn't win because of them
-All the players I mentioned as being better than Lebron have HOF players who never won championships because of them, e.g.

Jordan - Malone, Stockton, Gary Payton, Ewing, Barkley, are all players who should have probably had rings

Kobe- Chris Webber, Allen Iverson, T-Mac, Dwight are all players who probably would have had rings

Lebron's list reading like Deshaun Stevenson and Gilbert Arenas :mjlol: :childplease:

Did they dominate at the highest level?
-All the players I mentioned have winning records in the finals, were the direct reason for those records, and were generally considered by the peers to be the best at the time. Can't say that for the King

:francis:

Would their squad be considered a GOAT squad?
-Everybody I mentioned were on teams that were arguably GOATs. Can we say that for the Heat?
:francis:

Did they dominate their position on the floor?
- Never a question in any situation Kobe was the best SG on the floor. I saw Iggy and Kawhi give 'Bron that work in the NBA finals 2x in a row. Let's be real, that wouldn't happen to Jordan, that wouldn't happen to Kobe, we already know Magic would have gotten busy :mjpls:

While stats are a factor, they don't tell the whole story. I don't use stats to compare different eras that much. I'm very sure if Bird or Dr. J played the point forward position their assists would be way up as well. HOpe that explains my position for you :obama:

I agree with everything you said except with regards Olajuwon. I have him in my top 10 and definitely over Bron.

Agree...no consolation for 2nd place

You play to master your craft, and be the best....not winning it all is a failure
Dumb ass logic. What grown ass man who considers himself the greatest would conceit to losing on purpose to avoid losing in The Finals :what:

A few factoids :youngsabo:

He was 12 rebounds away from becoming the first player in playoff history to lead the ENTIRE playoffs in points, rebounds, and assists.

In 2015, he was first in points, FGs, assists, and 2nd in reboudning.

In 2013, he was first in points, FGs, assists, and 2nd in rebounding.

In 2012, he was first in points, FGs, rebounding, and second in assists.

(This was before the 32/18/9 stats from game 6 were included)
Jerry West averaged 37.9/4.7/7.4 in the 1969 Finals.

If you adjust Lebron's 36.8/12.4/8.8 to the pace played in that series between the LAL and NYK, James's statline would look like this:

I think Bron/Wade stopping KD/Westbrook from getting one and giving the all time great Spurs an L in the finals (no matter how close/fortunate) has to count for something :yeshrug:

There's probably a part of Bron that realizes he would have stopped Steph/Klay from getting one this year if Kyrie were healthy...

or if he just stayed with Wade for one more year before opting out :francis: @Miami316

This is what I'm saying. On all the big forums they are gonna give him yet another pass:scust:
Man wtf you want us to say? :snoop:

Ok fukk we'll stoop your level

Man Lebron should have averaged 100 points shooting 99% to beat the best and HEALTIEST TEAM in the league I don't care if he had to jump from half court and stretch his arm out to score on some
xsBuCvK.gif
shyt this all on Lebron. He should have blocked every shot, grabbed rebound, and pretty be Lebron God with the 2K sliders on 99 everything.

Happy now?

You can't talk sense to LeBron fans though. They have an excuse every year as these Finals losses keep piling up....

Beat a bunch of sorry ass teams in the East and then get washed in the Finals over and over and still be called one of the best ever......

Have a 2-1 lead with Game 4 at home and then lose 3 straight and still be called one of the best ever.....

:camby:
Cant talk sense to you fukking haters :camby:

Logic sense, and reality don't exist to you fukk ass nikkas

Dont remind me man. Titles were left on the table here in the sunshine state :snoop:. Runs that historic aren't supposed to last just 4 years.
