:mjlol: at the bolded.

It's interchangeable, my top 5 is fluid to be honest, but these are a short list of players I'd rank over Lebron:

MJ
Kareem
Magic
Bird
Russell
Wilt
Oscar
Kobe
Shaq
Duncan

These are the types of players I'd say Lebron is more or less on par with:

Olajuwon
Drexler
Isaiah
etc.

I would say at this point Lebron is definitely top 25, after that it depends on what you look at. Here's my criteria:

Degree of difficulty faced
- E.g. the 80s NBA, the 90s Eastern Conference, and the '00s Western Conference were all full of GOAT type teams

Who didn't win because of them
-All the players I mentioned as being better than Lebron have HOF players who never won championships because of them, e.g.

Jordan - Malone, Stockton, Gary Payton, Ewing, Barkley, are all players who should have probably had rings

Kobe- Chris Webber, Allen Iverson, T-Mac, Dwight are all players who probably would have had rings

Lebron's list reading like Deshaun Stevenson and Gilbert Arenas :mjlol: :childplease:

Did they dominate at the highest level?
-All the players I mentioned have winning records in the finals, were the direct reason for those records, and were generally considered by the peers to be the best at the time. Can't say that for the King

:francis:

Would their squad be considered a GOAT squad?
-Everybody I mentioned were on teams that were arguably GOATs. Can we say that for the Heat?
:francis:

Did they dominate their position on the floor?
- Never a question in any situation Kobe was the best SG on the floor. I saw Iggy and Kawhi give 'Bron that work in the NBA finals 2x in a row. Let's be real, that wouldn't happen to Jordan, that wouldn't happen to Kobe, we already know Magic would have gotten busy :mjpls:

While stats are a factor, they don't tell the whole story. I don't use stats to compare different eras that much. I'm very sure if Bird or Dr. J played the point forward position their assists would be way up as well. HOpe that explains my position for you :obama:

Nah,now if I leave the bias out,I can deal with Lebron not being top 5 yet,but you putting him around top 25? No way, stats alone Lebron is top 5 easily add in two rings,2 finals mvp,we talking top 3,now add in the losses in the finals then that could drop him to top 10,but no lower. Dude easily is a top 10 player ever regardless of anything.

Elgin Baylor is a career 27.4 PPG, 4.3 APG, and 15.4 RPG. He's the #3 all time scorer, over Lebron. Is he a top 5 player? Oh, and he's a SF :sas1:

Bron's got all that plus 4 mvps and 2 finals mvps. He's top 5-7 easily in the minds of most.

Not to mention theres a better then 50% chance he's winning at least 1-2 more rings by the time he retires. He'll be sitting in the top 3 soon.

Based on your post, we should consider Elgin Baylor as a top 5 player, answer the question nikka, is Elgin Baylor a top 5 NBA player? :sas1:

Lebron is 8-11 all time right now if he were to stop playing. To me he is sitting at 11.
Yup Bron is bottom half of the top 10.

Duncan
Kobe
Shaq
Bird
Bron
Hakeem

6-11 right there all are roughly on the same tier, with Hakeem being the lowest of them all.

Nope cause his numbers are inflated due to the pace of the 60s and he didn't have the team or individual accomplishments.

Come on breh you can't compare raw modern nba numbers against raw numbers from different eras without factoring in pace. You should know that :yeshrug:

So Elgin's numbers are inflated even though Bron has a higher usage rate than a championship PG? You didn't see the nikka taking 30+ shots a game? :deadrose:

http://www.si.com/nba/2015/05/26/lebron-james-cavaliers-hawks-usage-rate-nba-finals-kyrie-irving

Entering Game 4, James' postseason usage rate is 36.6, per NBA.com/stats, up significantly from his regular-season rate of 31.8. That rate leads the league during the 2015 playoffs (minimum: four games played), blowing away Warriors guard Stephen Curry, who is No. 2 at 30.8.

Man it aint Lebron fault he plays in this era,if thats the case Oscar's numbers are inflated because he was playing against less athletic players, while Lebron playing against the best athlete's ever. Get outta here:camby:
