Kobe and Bron had different responsibilities.

It would be interesting to see how KB would play if he had to be more of a distributor like Bron.....and how efficient would Bron be if he had to focus almost entirely on scoring.

So your main example is the 1 finals Kobe played bad in while he was simultaneously on trial for rape :dead:

and let me guess, you think Kobe in 04 was worse than Bron in 11 right :dead::dead:

BTW, PJ told Kobe to play team ball from 2000-2002 and he did.....before the 04 Finals....dumbass :russ:

:dahell:PJ utilized Kobe as the main distributor every season they were together. And the triangle always ran efficiently and won 5 titles. Kobe played the MJ AND Pippen role for PJ buddy

Finals mvp proves otherwise... what was his fg% for that series?
25ppg on roughly 45% shooting, many of them being open jumpers and the Spurs daring him to shoot. From a shooting standpoint, it wasn't a great series overall for LeBron, but he was clearly the best player on the court. Hell, I'd say that shooting percentage and ppg is very Kobe-esque in a way.

Kobe never avg 25ppg/11rpg/7apg/2spg/1bpg on 45%. Bron was guarding Tony Parker while providing help defense on Duncan. Kobe never did that.

He distributed because he had the ball but scoring was his #1, #2 and #3 goals. Bron's natural instinct is to pass and he's not a natural shooter. I think it affected the way people guarded them. Bron gets swarmed on the way to the hoop while Kobe got swarmed when he was shooting.

I was merely talking about his shooting%/ppg numbers. It was very Kobe-like in the fact that he shot sub 48% from the field. LeBron has had multiple all time great finals, and multiple finals where he's shot below his capabilities and had us scratching our heads. 2013 was a weird one that had us questioning where his jumpshot went, even though we knew he was still the best player on the court. It was just weird seeing him struggle with the open jumpers....

We already saw bron in Kobe mode, he shot 38% from the field being the sole scoring focus

At the end of the day Kobe was a distributor in the offense he played in. Kobe already showed many many times he could put up big assists numbers if he wanted. Even when he played for MDA, Kobe tied his career high in assists per game. But you're right overall.....Kobe instincts was to score and Bron is to pass.
