LeBron wanted DeRozan first, but most importantly the front office is the one who decides on the compensation.

I can say hey I want "x" but if the other team wants too much in return for "x" then it's on the front office to say no deal.. that's their job
He wanted DeRozan but he was probably harder to get or front office missed the opportunity. So Westbrook was like a backup plan and Bron definitely OK'd the deal and wanted to see him on the team as Westbrook is one of his buddies.

Look, all mega stars did shyt like that. Mike wanted Joe Wolf, but Krause said fukk it and got him Pippen and Horace from the draft.

I refuse to believe Westbrook was all Pelinka's idea and the whole team were like fukk it you the GM. This guy is a yes-man.

Should have left the tweet up. It's almost 2023. People been done screenshotted that tweet and are gonna post it and tag him when they are officially eliminated from playoff contention.

I, for one, am not gonna clown him for that tweet when they miss the playoffs.

That was 2 off-seasons ago.....You have to make moves to correct the situation........Despite the Lakers being one of the most profitable franchises in the league, Jeanie Buss is trying to save money on luxury tax.....If this was the Warriors, Nets, Clippers, or Knicks they would've made the necessary trades to correct the situation.

LA made no moves at the deadline last season because they did not want to pay more taxes.

LA was too cheap to sign Caruso.

LA cut Ryan earlier this season and still hasn't replaced him

LA has one of the worst medical staff in the league.

The Buss family is having money issues and it's negatively effecting the team/product.

no you don't have to make moves to correct the situation. they made that move to appease lebron. it hasn't worked out so why dig the hole even bigger to get out of that move that rob didn't even want to make. he had agreed on a trade for buddy hield which coincidentally is the move lebron fans want now.

Lebron can't control what the Lakers' FO/Ownership does.

The Lakers are not a winning team, but Lebron is playing winning basketball.

By removing it, he basically gave up on his team. This ya GOAT?

This is a bold face lie. You really think homie didn't have a hand in the AD trade???

Lakers mortgaged their future on that bubble championship. It is what it is, they have to deal with this now.

He is not serious, as they say in Africa.

Bron and his agency Klutch are among the most well connected, respected and powerful in sports. I don’t understand why they have to downplay Lebrons influence like it has anything to do with his skills as a baller. It’d be like MJ stans saying that MJ had nothing to do with the Wizards. Dude will be top 5 if he retires today as a baller, we ain’t trying to rate his GM/agent skills combined with his player skills.

He’s gotta take some heat for the trades and antics, just like we gotta put respec on his name for being like top 10 at close to 40.
