LeBron wanted DeRozan first, but most importantly the front office is the one who decides on the compensation.

I can say hey I want "x" but if the other team wants too much in return for "x" then it's on the front office to say no deal.. that's their job
Getting Derozan would have hard capped the Lakers, so that's not necessarily on the front office.

Yet the Clippers are able to be competitive without PG and Kawhi for long stretches.. that's because they have a winning front office compared to the Lakers
PG and Kawhi haven’t won shyt there
:manny:

That was 2 off-seasons ago.....You have to make moves to correct the situation........Despite the Lakers being one of the most profitable franchises in the league, Jeanie Buss is trying to save money on luxury tax.....If this was the Warriors, Nets, Clippers, or Knicks they would've made the necessary trades to correct the situation.

LA made no moves at the deadline last season because they did not want to pay more taxes.

LA was too cheap to sign Caruso.

LA cut Ryan earlier this season and still hasn't replaced him

LA has one of the worst medical staff in the league.

The Buss family is having money issues and it's negatively effecting the team/product.
All this to absolve blame for lebron. The reality is the front office is right not to move first rounders for mid-tier players or pay the tax for guys like Caruso.

She’s too broke and cheap to run the Lakers

She’s going to sell this team at some point

Watch..

Someone will offer the family 10 billion and they will be like fukk it

The point being that the Clippers are competitive WITHOUT their star players. The front office has done a good job listening to them, making their own decisions on players, retaining bird rights, and making the "layups" that a front office needs to in order to be competitive.

The Lakers have failed miserably on all those fronts as a front office.

It's about putting your star players in a position to succeed. And they haven't done that. Clippers have.

Lebron can't control AD's health or what the Lakers' FO/Ownership does.

The Lakers are not a winning team, but Lebron is playing winning basketball.
Then he shouldn’t have posted that proclamation. He opened himself up to criticism, again. Just chill Bron.
