Everyone & their mother has conceded that 'Bron is the best player in basketball. No one ever talks about the switch to Miami anymore. Son is sitting on the top of the basketball world and they're still whining. :what:

more like, kobe stans are whining that someone other than kobe is being discussed. y'all made a beeline to this thread just to start complaining.

anyways, yes, there was a double standard...and it was a stupid one. a lot of people still buy into it too. just look at the realgm thread the op jacked this from lol.

Bynum was putting up damn near 20 and 10 when healthy. Odom was a problem for everybody coming off the bench and could easily be slid into the starting lineup. It says a lot about a teams big man depth when their starting C goes down and they still make the Finals with ease. If you don't mention one nikka and then dismiss the other you are saying they didn't have a lot to do with LA winning.

It was moreso about the triumvirate than any one of them individually. That kinda size, ability, and versatility is not something you see everyday. Even when he wasn't putting up numbers the nikka was still long (ll) and allowed Odom to come off the bench.
Bynum was garbage in the playoffs. He could have easily been replaced. All he was was a big body.

I don't know why nikkas keep harping on Bynum when I have made it clear that I am referencing the group moreso than any individual. They all played a part and yeah many times Bynum's part was just being a big body.

They weren't on Wade's level. He is right.

Not being on Wade's level doesn't make them any less being NBA superstars.

And are we seriously calling the level Wade played at during last year's playoffs something D Rose wasn't very much capable of producing?

:childplease:

Stop it. Kobe was brought up by a 'Bron stan. Like every other thread, no one has even mentioned Bean besides a select few of you :( ass nikkas. No need for Laker/Kobe stans to rush any thread. You dudes will find some way to discuss him one way or another. No assistance needed. :heh:

After the 2009-10 season did anyone have Rose on Wade's level? :what:

Wade was regarded as a top 3 player at the time. Rose was borderline top 20. In fact Amare was considered a better player during that time.

Rose was league MVP the year Bron went to Miami...He beat out Wade for all NBA 1st team

But I guess for a 4 month period sometime between July 2010 and November 2010 Rose wasn't on Wades "level" which would have totally made Brons choice to join him legit...

This is an example of the intellectual dishonesty....

lol @ this nikka acting like players don't improve. :dwillhuh:

In 2011 Rose went from averaging 20.8/6.0/3.8 and not making an all-NBA team to averaging 25.0/7.7/4.3 and being first team all-NBA.

You are a fukking liar if you say Rose was considered anywhere near Wade's level in the 2010 offseason.

::mindblown:

Who is "acting" like that? The point is, D Rose was a better player than Wade the year Bron went to Miami.

Second, there was no doubt that Rose was on his way to becoming an NBA superstar and was already there. So the point you c/s saying "he could of played with somebody like stodimirere or rose who wasn't a superstar yet" is pure bullshyt.
