for the bolded, thank you.

Now, who is over looking how fortunate he was/is? where was that in my statements? In that case everyone of those players/teams that I initally mentioned are being overlooked in order to fellate, because THEY ALL were more fortunate than him.

FYI, why am I arguing for Kobe:pacspit: that nikka!

I just took issue with you trying to downplay the frontline. It's rather ironic for someone who :pacspit: him to do that. I can get with Bird and Magic being more fortunate but I can' co-sign Mike. You do have a point about people picking an choosing what stacked squads to harp on.

and since Shaq left Kobe had only ONE sidekick worthy of being an all-star.....Pau. Don't bing up oft injured Andrew Bynum, he didnt do anything in the 3 finals appearances and 2 finals wins.

To act as if Bynum and more importantly Odom didn't have a whole lot to do with winning those titles is just dishonest.

:dwillhuh: you do realize that entire team left basically right? not only lebron?. Varejao was injured, shaq left, hickson traded, delonte left, mo williams traded, big z went to miami.
You do realize had they stayed in tact minus Lebron, the team he left would not have sniffed 60 wins.

If you're not willing to tie most of those wins to Lebron being on that team then I don't know what to tell you.

I didn't act like anything, I said Pau was the only worthy all-star on that team, Bynum did nothing because he was injured (look it up) and Odom wasnt an all-star. Man, how do you comprehend what you read. i didnt down play anything and nor did I say they didnt have a whole lot to do with LA winning, LO and PAu did, not Bynum.

Everyone & their mother has conceded that 'Bron is the best player in basketball. No one ever talks about the switch to Miami anymore. Son is sitting on the top of the basketball world and they're still whining. :what:

:what: but they didn't that's the issue.
The issue is saying he left a team as if they had some sort of upside and were a core of up and coming players.

That team was held together by Bron, their medical staff, has beens, fringe NBA stars and journeymen.

That's exactly what he left, but people swear saying he left a 60 win team makes sense as if he wasn't going to import 95% of those wins to whatever team he joined.

What am I rewriting?

It's my opinion that that Cavs team was built mostly on the legs of Lebron and him leaving would lead to their collapse. People in effect are giving that "team" most of the credit for 60 wins as opposed to Lebron being mostly responsible for it.

It's incredible to me. People saw Mike Brown's recent shortcomings with his stint as the Lakers coach, see the players which orbited Lebron during his time in Cleveland yet still want to say he left a 60 win team rather than seeing that the only reason they sniffed that many wins was LEbron.

:heh:

But here's the part where people don't actually respond to what's being said and want to categorize or talk about the mental make up of so called "Lebron Stans"

Bynum was putting up damn near 20 and 10 when healthy. Odom was a problem for everybody coming off the bench and could easily be slid into the starting lineup. It says a lot about a teams big man depth when their starting C goes down and they still make the Finals with ease. If you don't mention one nikka and then dismiss the other you are saying they didn't have a lot to do with LA winning.

6.3/3.7 in 09 and 8.6/6.9 in 10 Bynum? :beli:

That nikka? :wtf:

Andrew Bynum NBA & ABA Stats | Basketball-Reference.com

It was moreso about the triumvirate than any one of them individually. That kinda size, ability, and versatility is not something you see everyday. Even when he wasn't putting up numbers the nikka was still long (ll) and allowed Odom to come off the bench.
