Did you watch the actual podcast on YouTube or just the teasers on social media? Because they were showing footage on the episode

At least the first one, haven’t watched the second one yet

On Youtube.

And it's about 50/50. Half the time they show actual game footage, the other half I'm trying to visualize wtf they're talking about.

Bron talking to that BallDontStop dude with this one

I mean of course Lebron would say that considering he is possibly the most athletic player in history. He didn't have to worry about developing as much of a bag as the average player. I agree with what he's saying about playing in a team context, but to draw those double teams you need a bag as a base to be a big enough of an offensive threat to warrant those doubles.

What was dumb about that? I hate Harden's style of play as much as the next man but he really was unstoppable and had the Warriors on the ropes.
He contributed heavily to them losing the next 2 games including 27 missed 3s in a row

Not to mention, Chris Paul, the best player in that series til the injury, woudn’t have let that shyt happen

“Bag” NBA Twitter conveniently likes to remind everyone about how Harden “almost” beat the Warriors anytime he starts playing like shyt

BallDontStop is ran by an idiot dikkrider

Man this podcast really does drop some gems here. They are talking about offensive and defensive actions, and how there just simply isn't a good answer to how some of these offensive players are playing

If you blitz or double them they make the right read and players are so good they will hit their open 3's.. everyone is switch heavy now, so players can get the 1v1 matchup that they want easier and when they do get that matchup inevitably they will drive and get help from a teammate which leaves a shooter open from 3

People talk about defense is down now.. but in reality what can you do on the defensive end besides hope that players miss from 3, and switch up your coverages ALOT during the course of the game to throw offenses off

He basically had one great game in that series and it came in a loss. He had 5 turnovers a game and shot 35% from the field in their WINS. 17% from 3 in the 4 quarters. 2-13 from 3 in game 7 (to his credit he did get hoed on some non-calls in that game).

I think his point wasn't that a bag doesn't matter, but that's it's become overemphasized to the point where players lose sight of the team aspect.

I could see that. I took it as learn the team game and don't worry about the bag as much because if you can't handle double teams the bag won't matter.
