Basically. Silva is the same age as Chuck and Matt Hughes when they started getting wrecked every single fight. Unless your name is Floyd or Bernard, you should leave the fighting stuff to people 35 and under. It just doesn't make sense to try to compete as a husk of your former self.

Silva's chin is obviously finished. He would NEVER get dropped like that in his prime (damn near KO'd). The Chael "knockdown" was a hard, wild left that didn't even put him off his feet; he just lost balance.
I got some bad news friend.

" He is really well. He told me that in 3-6 months he will be back, and training. He is well, relaxed. If that had not happened, he would come back stronger, faster in the 3rd round, and would look to knock Weidman out or win the fight, that is for sure"

"Anderson threw a Muay Thay Kick, and Weidman blocked it precisely. Unfortunately, this accident happened, and he broke his shin. But Anderson did the right move, and props to Weidman who checked the kick and the accident happened"

To me the big takeaway is Weidman is a good counter puncher and was not willing to engage with Silva against Belfort I see him having trouble. If he can get out of the first round though, Weidman should have little competition for a good while (and little fan fair since he will be viewed as the guy who killed that prick Silva)

if anything that would make him a fan favourite. He'll have little fan fare because he has the charisma of a corpse

Little competition? We have tough contenders in Belfort, Machida, Jacare and even Mousasi. Machida and Jacare match up really well with Weidman, I personally believe that one these two fighters will take him out.

Belfort is a test, because of TRT and his swarm antics. Machida is old as fukk fighting a young man's style, Jacare is good, but strikes me as someone who just hang around like Werdum and never get his shot. Mousasi lets see him win a fight in the UFC first

Machida has a really good style to beat Weidman, as does Jacare (but to lesser degree imo). Machida is easily the better striker, has some of the best TDD in the UFC and his BJJ is excellent. Plus, he's very strong, Weidman will have trouble bullying him around. And he's shown no signs of slowing down.

I'm calling it right now, Machida will be the MW champion before the end of 2014. :blessed:

Sell a million ppvs, break your leg and only get 600k brehs

But Dana White is fair :obama:

Let me start off by saying that White is far being fair. But, I doubt Anderson made anything less than 2-3 (possibly more) million (purse, PPV percentage, etc.) for that fight. If someone like Overeem can clear a 1 million (for his fight at UFC 141), I'm sure Anderson is making a fair bit more.
