Breh, I was thinking about this on my way into work this morning. It's noticeable that some of your elite fighters within UFC are men of color, Silva, Velasquez (with a Brown Pride tat), Jon Jones (white girlfriend/wife), Belfort,etc.. GSP although white, seems to identify mostly with black considering his circle appears to be mainly black. The few times I've seen him in the audience, the people with him were black. Knowing how many insecure whites think when it comes to issues surrounding masculinity and non-whites, it's understandable, I mean completely understandable why they feel like finally somebody brought one home for Team White. Matter fact, I shouldn't even use the word, "understandable", because I can't claim to entirely understand it as I don't have any significant racial hangups. The better word to use should probably be, "expected", considering what we know about whites when it comes to comparing masculinity between themselves and non-whites.

Well I was curious if there was an ACTUAL train of thought behind this mentality other than just petty and immature racism. That's how it APPEARS because whenever minorities start dominating sports, white people harken back to the "good ol days". Weidman is a very well-rounded wrestler (really good BJJ and an ever improving striking game), he's different (and has more tools) than Anderson's past opponents.

The first fight, Weidman knocked him out standing, and in the second fight, he almost knocked him out again standing. That part has very little to do with wrestling. Watching him almost KO Anderson in the first round of the second fight proved that the first fight was not a fluke. You're fukking delusional if you believe that bullshyt. In the second fight, Anderson came out the gates motivated/serious and he still lost. This is coming from a pretty big Anderson fan.

Wait now you want to backpedal and discuss fighting after I pin pointed how much of a clown you are?:mjlmao: Fine whatever. Its a typical panic gimmick fight. Mcmann is not good despite all the hype. She had one fight against a small ass flyweight who has since been cut. She wasn't that impressive in invicta either(Bayzler won that fight they had). Alexis Davis and Amanda Nunes both have impressive victories over better quality of opponents. I would much rather see Ronda deal with an aggressive striker like Nunes since we just saw that was her biggest vulnerability instead of someone who going to charge in only to get tossed.

Basically. Silva is the same age as Chuck and Matt Hughes when they started getting wrecked every single fight. Unless your name is Floyd or Bernard, you should leave the fighting stuff to people 35 and under. It just doesn't make sense to try to compete as a husk of your former self.

Silva's chin is obviously finished. He would NEVER get dropped like that in his prime (damn near KO'd). The Chael "knockdown" was a hard, wild left that didn't even put him off his feet; he just lost balance.
