All the "why cant they just leave him alone" niccas in this thread are funny. Uh...cause its part of his job description. Thats why. The NFL is a media fueled business entity, and its important that players are made available in order to drive their product. I like Lynch, but he's just being an unprofessional diva, who obviously feels reporters and the whole process of answering questions is beneath him. You dont need to turn Lynch into some freedom rider over this.
house nikka right on time

Truth is, it's his job to talk to em, everyone else has to do the same thing, over 1500 players, so why should he be any different?

Like ya said, he don't trust em and that's fine, he just should have given him nothing from the get go, instead it's now a thing and he's getting grief for it.

Because they want something from him. As a reporter it's their job to get something outta the players and find a way to get it. Those answers of "yea/nope" do them no good. Lynch knows that and they know that. He has to talk them now (since he's choosing not to take the fines) so as a reporter you might as well take advantage of it and ask him about stuff he likes then bam you got a story on "Inside the Beast: The NFL's Most Quiet Star Speaks"

He's talking so all this "He's gotta talk, its in his contract" bullshyt is moot. He's speaking. If they continue to fine him then he will have grounds to take legal action against the league. You can make be available to the media, it's likely in the contract. You CAN'T tell him what to say to the media at said interview. Thats NOT in the contract and thus can not be penalized for it. The fact is the he only has to make himself available for an undetermined amount of time after each game. I looked at my Dad's old contract and unless they changed something since the 80s, players also have to do conference calls with the media up to 5 times in a season (yet if they are requested more then they cant refuse) so why do they choose to not force him to take media calls? Because they know they will get nothing of substance from it so they choose not to. Why not apply that same logic to post game interviews if the result is the same? Because they are just stirring the pot and that mentality is EXACTLY why he chooses not to converse with the media.

How about this idea.

Leave the man alone and interview people who wan't to be interviewed.

Lynch wasn't brought into the league because of his communication skills, i hate when people like steven a think every player has an Obligation to speak to the media.

Get off your high horse man.

I think Lynch elevator may not go to the top floor for real... He honestly may have issues with social anxiety or something where he really has a problem being put on the spot to answer questions. But I think it is smart for someone to realize that they are not good at talking and being politically correct and take themselves out of the situation. Lynch seems to be legit hood and not the kind of guy you would pick to represent the organization in front of the world. Yall seen that clip where Pete Carrol was tyna explain the blocking scheme and Lynch was like I'll just read it...

Instead of fining/punishing the man for not talking, how about sitting down with him away from the camera and find out what is going on in the situation. The NFL has time to find little kids with cancer to push out a feel good story, but they don't have the time to look into and really take care of thier non-cac/commercially viable players. Before this blows up into a ugly situation just sit down with the guy and work out a solution instead of playing god. 100k for not even breaking a law is unacceptable, thats enough guap to feed a small country... I mean damn you can't start out with community service, habitat for humanity, or some play 60 commercials first?

he can quit the nfl and join his local backyard team if he doesnt wanna talk to the media

 why you in your feelings about it breh? You ever had your girl, boss, colleague, cop try to talk to you when you dont want? shyt is just problems waiting around the corner

What if a player had an extreme case of anxiety, shyness or public speaking:patrice:? Would the league ignore his disease and force them to talk to the media:patrice:?

If that's me, im getting a doctor to say that I have social anxiety and it's detrimental to my mental health, imma get a medical card and be lightin up to Philthy Rich on my way out the locker room
:dahell:The fukk you mean by this playboi? Cacs really out themselves here when nikkas don't do what they want them to do.

How is your rep so high? :patrice:

Take this neg though:umad:

Let us start the neg train.:blessed:

Agreed on that neg train... you can have all my cash from selling my bullshyt ass stock if that helps. That's the worst kind of cac comment :camby:with that :trash:
