In an attempt to make a point, you've completely missed the point of this thread.

No one is saying they don't want him to talk. I'm pretty sure that if he did talk, none of us would have a problem with it.

The real problem is the NFL having a fukkin rule in place that says he has to talk. Owners don't have to talk. GM don't have to talk. Why the fukk does a player have to talk?


Either get rid of the rule or make it universal.

Your examples are terrible. Why would an owner or GM have the same responsibilities as a player? You might as well complain that they don't have to show up for training camp either but the players do.

Not only that, Lynch is a star player. The rule has been clear for decades. Star players especially must make themselves available to media after the games. Clear, implicit. As I've said earlier, I'd love to see you go in to work and not do things you deem beneath you that are required.

Maybe the reporters should ask him about what he wants to talk about:the town, rap music, his grills, and how he don't have to go to Dave and busters anymore etc I'd bet he'd open up a little bit then. He's done plenty of on camera stuff before. He doesn't trust those reporters so he doesn't give em anything to work with. They have to build trust with him 1st something only a real nikka reporter would know how to do.

Truth is, it's his job to talk to em, everyone else has to do the same thing, over 1500 players, so why should he be any different?

Where in the rule book does it say he has to have a thought-out and well-spoken 2 paragraph answer? He's answering questions, but since the whiny media isn't getting monologues, they whine and complain even more. No, lets not report on their last two wins, or that they held their last two opponents to 3 pts, or that their are 52 other players PLUS coaches to speak to...Nah, let's keep trying to make ONE GUY who clearly doesn't want to speak to us, talk...

Lynch signed a contract that requires him to talk, he needs to speak anybody defending him not talking is stupid if they don't see this. Now what he says in these interactions is on him, so if its yeah or nope or ball , or shamlocks he IS talking to the media, and anything else is semantics.
