His job is to run the ball and not put it on the ground.

:wow:
Don't be disingenuous. He also has a responsibility by his employers to speak to the media. I get you guys like to fight the establishment but sometimes as an adult you don't get to not do things your job wants you to do.

He spoke. Did he not?
He found a way around the rules. I'm talking about when he was getting fined thousands of dollars for no reason. He'll most likely get fined some more for not respecting the media

most players in ALL sports don't say jack shyt other than the typical scripted answers when talking to the media anyways, so who gives a shyt really if he don't wanna talk to the media? I know I don't.
I couldnt give 2 shyts if he talks or not, but I'm just confused why be hates talking so much. Did I miss something where the majority of y'all all of a sudden don't want to hear athletes talk?
I read that. Went :rudy: And didn't read the rest.
Lol did I say something that wasn't true?

In an attempt to make a point, you've completely missed the point of this thread.

No one is saying they don't want him to talk. I'm pretty sure that if he did talk, none of us would have a problem with it.

The real problem is the NFL having a fukkin rule in place that says he has to talk. Owners don't have to talk. GM don't have to talk. Why the fukk does a player have to talk?

Either get rid of the rule or make it universal.

If he didn't make it an issue in the first place, and just gave these one word answers from jump street it wouldn't even have been a problem.

The league is more tight about the defiance than the actual answers.

:childplease:He's a NFL player, but he's an employee of the Seahawks.
The Seahawks will never cut him because of reluctance to do interviews. Never.
They will cut him if he is no longer effective at running the ball and not turning it over.

His employer operates under the rules of the league. They would never cut him for this, but the NFL will happily keep taking money out of his paychecks.
