Amen Sis!
My sister said the same thing to me in a convo. Whites talk about everything with little pushback...except black people. They dont want to humanize us or understand the suffering we go thru. Black people must create our own pro-black dialogue for ourselves. We are in this alone
I need a lot more weed, long hikes through the woods and shooting shyt on BF4 to get to the bottom of this.
My nascent theory is that it’s because blacks symbolically are the farthest FROM whites in terms of what they can align with.
Our hair, the way we move, our music, our features, our speech, our spirituality, our sexuality, food, culture, bodies, psychology...
All of these differences make us polar opposites to whites. Thus, our demonization has been the major foundation of white supremacy. Sure they hate others, but other races and groups are easier to suck into the white supremacist fold because they may superficially have more in common phenotypically, class wise, sexually, racially.
If that’s the case, it makes sense that racial equality would be the most difficult thing for whites to swallow b/c they have based their entire identity off being different than us and created a system where their differences are rewarded and ours are punished.
So they employ a wide barrage of tactics. ANYTHING to avoid talking about their final boss of oppression: systematic racial subjugation of anyone associated with African genetics.
They’ll outright deny it’s happening.
Lie about the intensity or duration of it happening.
Try to dismiss what they have done and equate it to human nature.
Downplay their role in it.
Try to justify it by saying we deserved it because we are inferior.
Create a mythos of victimization to protect themselves from their wrongdoing.
And this latest shyt with piling on special interest groups is just another way for them to procrastinate and delay the real underlying issue.
Imma iron this shyt out. I need a whiteboard to do it tho.
