Yea I just downloaded the Comp tia all in one guide I need to see what else i can get. I think this is my best bet for now, I'm tired man
I feel u bro, don’t fret. Not everyone is good or likes math, shyt, I feel the same way you do coming on this site and everyone has an engineering or math heavy degree.

But you gotta think, they pay high because a lot of people can’t do it, it’s not common to get these degrees.

People like us gotta be happy we at least got an education. Be proud of that breh.

I know it sucks that you can only get a job with stem or accounting and finance degrees. Makes you wonder why other degrees even exist.

They should only make stem and accounting/finance degrees since that’s all they’re looking for.

Anyway, breh, you got options, you got IT, you got trades, you got sales, law school, etc.

I don’t care what anyone says, we are Black Men that graduated college that hate math.

It’s better than no degree to me.

I'm considering Law School but I don't know where to start. For context I have a Bachelors of English from Morehouse and student debt. I am 26yrs old I make 45K in NYC and I live in the hood. I've been doing non profit work since I graduated and I'm sick of it. I know this site is all about 6 figures and Certs but I really despise math and I always did well with reasoning and comprehension (hence my degree). What I was not aware of however was that an English Degree is damn near pointless (My family thought me going to Morehouse and just getting a degree would be enough.) No, I do not want to be a teacher. My undergrad gpa was pretty abysmal (2.5) The thing is, seeing black gentrifies moving into NY and Brooklyn living in better places now then my whole childhood is striking a nerve. I want money, Money separates the halves from the have not's and I like nice things. I currently don't have any kids. My (passion) was Sports Journalism but I did not take the proper steps as far as securing internships in school etc to have a career currently.

I am damn near running out of options because I feel like I damn near wasted my time and life and that I should have or should just get a trade. Do you think law would be good for me?

I got toa top 10 law school in the last semester of my final year. I'm unemployed and 200k in debt. The legal industry is a racist oasis for upper class cacs. If you want to make real money you have to go to a top school, get excellent grades and fit in with cacs.

Quick question.

Say I purchased something online and after my purchase of the item the price goes up on the item I bought. The shipper then claims that the address is wrong and has the item sent back to them. Though I have evidence the address was right when I purchased the item. They offer a refund for what I paid, but the refund is less than the cost of the product on a secondary market and cannot be bought at the price i purchased it from.

If I buy the item from a different seller else can I in small claims court sue the shipper for either loss of the property I purchased based on the secondary market price for the item, or loss of potential revenue if I had received the item at the original price and then decided to sell the item myself or even for some sort of negligence?

"Here’s a riddle for you: If an attorney works at a Biglaw office for 10 years, but no one knows who they are, are they really an attorney at all?"

Doc Review Attorney Demands To Be Seen In Biglaw Departure Email
"Dear Fellow WilmerHale Colleagues:

It is with a heavy heart that I have made the difficult decision to leave WilmerHale in my role as a Discovery Attorney. For those of you that do not know me, or don’t care, please mark Non-Responsive and move on to the next e-mail. If you do know me, know what a discovery attorney is, please mark responsive. Please reserve the “Needs Further Review” tag if you have additional questions on why you even got this email in the first place from a discovery attorney.

I know, some of you who have made it past the first paragraph of this document may now be asking yourselves “who are these discovery attorneys you reference?”

It is hard to believe that nearly 10 years ago, I started out as one of the first discovery attorneys in what was called “The Original Eight” at WilmerHale – Dayton. We operated covertly on behalf of our clients in our cubicles on the 1st Floor of the building. At the time, we were referred to as the “Doc-Ninjas” for our ability to review, analyze and issue code documents in a precise and efficient manner"

:francis:they know who we are when there's a problem with the litigation tags or discovery is withheld:mjgrin:

Wishing David Lat A Speedy Recovery From COVID-19
But also strange is not acknowledging that a prominent figure in the legal world is currently hospitalized with the coronavirus. That’s right: David Lat, who founded Above the Law in 2006, has been diagnosed with the coronavirus.

Lat’s been very forthcoming in his personal interactions with the pandemic, posting about his diagnosis on social media.

Biglaw Coronavirus Policy Tracker: Which Firms Will Let Lawyers Work From Home?
In order to contain the community spread of COVID-19, many law schools have shuttered for semesters at a time, moving to online learning platforms to spare their students from potentially contracting the virus. Some Biglaw firms have decided to do the same, offering their employees opportunities to work from home in an effort to protect the health and wellness of their most valuable assets.

Just as we’ve done in the past when it comes to raises and bonuses, we are compiling a table of all the firms that have announced coronavirus policies that will benefit their employees, who those policies apply to (lawyers and staff or only lawyers), and the markets where those policies are in effect. Today, we unveil that table for your viewing pleasure. We will be updating this table on a daily basis, sometimes multiple times, as news on these policies is announced. If you see any information here that is incorrect or needs clarification, let us know.
