That Rollins gambling ep was the best episode in years. I thought shorty was a goner on 3 separate occasions.

This premier was would average tho. Stabler has to come back for the finale.
I like Rollins, last season she kept having me be like ":mjcry:bytch put the dice down... don't gamble away ya life boo :sadbron:"

Lol I saw a promo for this last night during football and said "hold up this show is still going?!?"

It is/was a classic tv show but they should have done a graceful exit years ago imo.

Cop shows in general are Larry Holmes status, how many fukkin Law and Order/NCIS/CSI clones do we need? Is the typical American really so fukkin stupid that they're content to be spoonfed the same "Cop Good/Crook Bad" drivel over and over again?
NCIS LA is piff though :ohlawd:

Its funny as they made a NCIS New Orleans :dead:

The crazy thing is ALL these cop shows have an interrogation scene with a bad guy at least once per episode :pachaha:

I do agree the broadcast channels have too many cop dramas, cable seems to more variety, Walking Dead, Power, etc.

I agree with South Park that all of these cop shows are just "murder porn" at this point

This week's episode of "Law & Order: SVU" pulls a triple, tackling the Ray Rice, Donald Sterling and Jay Z/Solange elevator scandals.

The writers at "Law & Order: SVU" are so messy! And we love it. Last year, they ripped the Chris Brown/Rihanna saga from the headlines and turned it into a trashy episode and now Ray Rice, Donald Sterling, Jay Z and Solange all get their turn at bat, in ONE episode!

Airing Wednesday (on NBC, 9pmCT), the "American Disgrace" episode stars fictional NBA player Shakir “The Shark” Wilkins--played by Henry Simmons-- who is accused of rape by a PR employee from his clothing line. The ish jumps off after a shocking elevator scene, captured via security cam, and goes public via the "LMZ" gossip site. There's no audio and only raw camera footage. Sound familiar?

This is sad. The show flew off the rails 6-7 years ago. Now they're waiting on NBC to jump.
