He has already said his kid is better then elites of the past and present. Pissing off powerful people is usually the wrong way to go about things in pro sports and yes he is also making them enemies of the media which is a bad idea imo. Get the power first then make them mad but they arent in a position of power right now imo no reason to antagonize players and media not to mention coaches and people in the front office.

Not true

A former executive on ESPN said none of that matters. The son didn't say any of that (not a big deal deal if he did say it because You want your high draft pick to think he will be the best)

Owners and GM's only care about performance. Nothing illegal is going on here. You dudes are overthinking it.

Hmm...Been thinking about it, Breh. @DonKnock

He should rebrand to call his brand something like B3 Legacy, LTD.

That way in incorporates the Ball bros. X3 thing he wanted but also gives him something real clean that rolls off consumers tongues like...

"eBay has the Legacy Melo 4s for $250, I might cop..."

You get the 3 B's, it fits in with the LOnzo, LIangelo, LAmelo and the cypher is complete with LEgacy and he could make up a clever story like the brand is like his 4th baby.

I'd rather wear some Legacy jawns instead of Big Baller Brand jawns and it's not as gimmicky as something too out there.

:yeshrug:

Lavar Ball might be so confident with that name that he'd probably say LEbron might even join to have the Voltron assembly shyt:snoop:

:dahell:

You realize 2/3 are still in high school? They're not moving merch like that unless Lonzo ends up in a big market and does his thing. Trying to create a lifestyle brand is too much too soon. They could have printed and sold some t-shirts for $25-30 but this idiot LaVar doesn't understand modesty. He's charging more than Nike. They definitely won't have kicks on ebay for 250:mjlol:

What's going to happen when Lonzo goes pro and Nike or Adidas throws a few million at him? Lavar is gonna tell them to do a BBB collab or kick rocks. Adidas x BBB :heh:. I can see him trying to tell them how to design his kicks.

a lot of :mjpls: posts in here

i wish the best for his brand. he seems to know what he's doing.

its ALWAYS the "nikkas" with no business talking about business sense
I think anybody with a large social media game and two of the most hyped up young athletes on the planet can look like they know what they're doing when it comes to drumming up hype. But if his shyts going to appeal to young people, i.e the casuals who bigged up Lamelo in the first place, it's gonna have to look far better than this. This shyt is horrendous straight up.
