Damn $40 for a gildan print press t shirt :mjlol:

$100 for that ugly ass cork hat:picard:

Starbury and Shaq had the right idea when they branched off and created their brand the affordable prices to remain competitive with powerful brand name companies. People who pay $40 dollars for a shirt or $100 dollars for a hat do it for the name. They want you to know they rocking Ralph Lauren or Nike. Hell thats the whole business model of these designer brands when they charge these exorbitant amount of money.

Problem is he is going too hard too too fast.

If he wants to get the brand out there, do it slowly. Without mentioning it.

Have the sons wear it all the time and let it build organically. Ur son is a top player in the country, ppl WILL ask about his clothes eventually.

A loud talking brash older man wearing apparel isn't going to to endear it to the younger audience who wears that type of clothing.

Just be cool

Any poster on here calling other posters haters and etc. for calling this dudes merch shytty is not going to drop one gotdamn dime on his shyt.

Only white kids who think this is how Black people dress will buy this stuff. And unless he gets someone well known with a large social media following to wear his stuff, he is not going to push as much merch as he thinks he will.

It's not about the actual name itself. It's simplicity and repeatability that's more the concern. The name could be Gooseberry and that would be better from a marketing perspective because it's simple, easy to say and even able to be abbreviated. Repetition is what makes names sound good, not the actual name.

Imagine somebody sees you with something on and ask you what it is. "Oh, these the Big Baller Brands"... Then they say "what?"... then you gotta repeat that again? lol... Even B3 would have rolled off the tongue a little better.

The guy has got a great idea, and I hope I'm wrong. But everything looks like he did it all himself. Or maybe he had a suspect team of helpers. I don't know which would be worse, lol. But even the guy who started McDonald's had to get someone else involved to make it really successful.
