The reason being is the requirements to obtain an immigrant status in the U.S. You have to learn about the fouding fathers, national anthem, pledge of allegiance etc. is like Black Americans are not part of the country. The importance of the Black community is not emphasized. At all. My opinion is that ignorance stems from that plus the potrayal of Black here in foreign media.

However, these days is easy to look up information and educate yourself but I doubt a majority of immigrants are concern about how we got here and more so I can finally make some $$$
