Seriously and it wasnt even a horror movie but Fire In The Sky. I actually went to the movies to go see that when it came out and I swear it seriously had me shook back then. The scene where they snatch him and operate on him still fukks with me to this day.
That shyt when dude was under the table and the syrup dripped down on his face gives me chills

Have you read the book?
I know we chopoed it up about this and communion on :hamster:communion has a dope alien abduction scene but fire takes the cake..the scene alone smashes any related tv show or film imo.like yourself it left a huge mark on me, mentally and emotionally.
Communion was crazy...I remember that book, an older friend of my brother used to read it. I jacked it from him one time but never finished it...what was the sequel to it called?

When the first Paranormal Activity dropped it had me shook to the point where I doused my bed in holy water and still ended up sleeping in my mom's bed.

Just recently I seen the first Nightmare on Elm St. for the first time and it had me lowkey shook:lupe:

Last one I remember that really affected me long after the movie was over was Lake Mungo.

Messed me up big time with questions about fate, destiny, isolation, knowing that something really horrific is going to happen to you and there's nothing you can do to change it.

It scared me and made me so sad at the same time.

Lol, Im scared to even watch it again.

This was a very slept on movie...the whole knowing your own fate and being unable to change it thing was done really well

Man the scene in Annabelle where the demon is posted up just staring on the stairs on all fours.

That shyt was literally my fears depicted whenever I had to run up stairs at night.:mjlol:

Exactly. Many movies explore that same theme, not necessarily horror movies either, but Lake Mungo really made it terrifying for me.

Last ones for me:

Grave Encounters: Getting high and watcing scary movies on Netflix is a regular activity for me now but this was one of my first times; I still say this one's a modern classic

The Wicker Man (original) : Wasn't scared watching it, but that night the combo of thinking about a whole island full of people trying to lure someone in to kill, plus reading comments from disgruntled youtube athiests who were glad dude got killed had me lookin over my shoulder for a week

The Strangers. Cuz there's a bunch of trees n shyt outside my house.
I'm afraid of the trees. But not really.

Also, there's an episode of Hitchcock Presents and it's got like two nurses in a house. Its called Open window I believe. And the one about the ventriloquist. Hitchcock knew how to make that crazy shyt
