I feel like RJ Barrett is still the #1 pick in almost any other draft. I would have taken him #1 over Ayton. His motor and skillset at his size will make him a better NBA player than he was as a college freshman. People forget that he reclassified to go to Duke a year early, he should be in his senior year of high school right now. Even going early, he still had one of the best freshman years of a player at a major program ever. He's been elite at every level and that will continue in the NBA.

RJ is a potential franchise cornerstone and will be among the league scoring leaders year in and year out.

I feel like RJ is a better prospect than Luka Doncic and DeAndre Ayton. He just has that dog in him, and players like that rarely fail.

The front office should not overthink this. Barrett is the pick if he's there at 3. I trust him to succeed more than Morant.

Barrett is a future hof and will be the best player in this draft

I actually like RJ more than Ja as a prospect too. I get the Wiggins with drive comparisons, but RJ seems more dynamic with the ball than Wiggins ever did imo. Whether we trade for AD or not, the Knicks are in a good position going into the future.

They may want AD but so does Boston. Focus on the draft till the trade is finalized

I wouldn't trade these guys on rookie contracts for AD if I get KD and Kyrie. I would keep all my future draft picks and build the team around KD and Kyrie so when KD is old, RJ Barret will be 23 and ready.

He’s young as hell (not even 19) so you you got to wonder if it’s just him being stubborn/young.
