Yall always gotta go with hyperbole, dude isn't lazy. If anything, he'd try to do too much at times considering he had Zion and Reddish out there among others. His problems were decision making and the shoddy jumper (I count decision making with some of his ugly moments at the rim).

That’s not true. I’m probably Barrett’s biggest hater here as a Duke fan and a guy who’s big on Cam Reddish. Lazy is the LAST thing I’d use to describe Barrett. The kid is an absolute DOG. Without checking i know he lead Duke in minutes and he never seemed tired. My knock on his is that he’s going to struggle a bit early in his career cause like Zion, he bulldozes his way to buckets too and that shyt won’t work in the nba until he puts on a bit more size. I wish he had a bit more finesse to his game. But i never thought he’d be a bad player, just wished K would tight the rope he gave the kid all season. But the shyt that i can’t deny about this kid is his drive. Its Kobe-esque. He’s not scared of the moment at all and like @storyteller pointed our months ago, that shyt is going to translate in work ethic. I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up being the best player in this draft despite not being the most skilled (Cam, Garland and Culver) or being the most athletic (Zion and Morant). I don’t think anyone in this draft is as competitive as RJ tho.

Thats my bad i mixed him up with my views on Cam as far as the laziness goes.. but everything else stands

ok brehs

The post will most like get ridiculed but good i like positive criticism and discussion

i have my Top 3 Prospects in The Draft for the Knicks

1. Zion ofcourse
2. Bol Bol the Unicorn 2.0 ... The Twin Towers in NY 50Percent from behind the ARC:banderas:
3. Ja Morant new aged kyrie with less pointless size up dribbles?

I would be satisfied with any of them

Who i don't favor

1. No shot Nassir Little aka Justice Winslow he commits as many turnovers as assist. He has high energy but na..
2. Ball Hog Rj Barrett aka the more aggressive Andrew Wiggin he is cool but na.
3. Low motor Cam Reddish he doesn't play with 100% effort every night. Might be like a great value Paul George.

Its early in the season so who knows things may change.

I will post this again during draft night.

What are your picks Brehs? :lupe:

It’s kind of scary how now that the lottery is over people have moved the goalposts to Zion can now say he’s not playing for anyone but us. Y’all gotta stop, this shyt ain’t healthy. It’s over, Pat said it best be happy you got 3rd and support the breh.

TLDR:

This is exactly why Knicks fans get clowned so hard. Unrealistic expectations. Then they get super upset when you show them logic. A few examples of that in this thread.

Capela isnt his floor he’s not guaranteed to be as good as him he just plays similliarly
Capela isn’t that good. He plays with Harden and feasts off the lob.

Robinson should be better than him as both a rim runner and overall defender and he actually wants to shoot threes.

Have you seen him play in game? im not talking highlights. Most of his points come from Zion bulldozing to the basketball then dishing it out to him or chucking the ball during the last second. He is a lackluster lazy type of player. His ceiling is JR Smith or watered down Melo with the defensive capabilities.
He’s not lazy at all he’s a dog and doesn’t remind at all of Smith.

His game has shades of DeMar DeRozan, D’Angelo Russell, and Rodney Hood to me.

It can be done there’s a precedent.

Kobe did it to the Hornets

Steve Francis told the Vancouver Grizzlies to kick rocks.

He needs to be a man tell them he ain’t playing for nobody except NY
Zion is a good kid he ain’t doing that shyt

So you’d turn down Davis for that package? :comeon:
As a AD Stan before he even touch a ball in Kentucky. Saying we should of tanked that season for him. Nah. I’m in the trade for Beal camp instead. I was in the trade everything for AD. But then Mitch got minutes and started threatening the tank by himself

Mitch is gonna win a DPOY. I’m willing to give him up but they not getting the boat load

Real gm Knick fans are the most delusional fans ever.

Taking about they wouldn’t trade Robinson even straight up for Davis :comeon:

Robinson’s ceiling is a rim runner like a Capela who was unplayable in the GS series to say you wouldn’t trade him straight up (which the Pelicans would obviously never do anyway) is just asinine

Or the fans who think Knox has great value. Lol Knox is not a big time trade chip at all

Mitch is blocking shots at an elite level now and he guards the perimeter as good as any big I can think of when it comes to switching. I wouldn't set his ceiling at Capela (though I like him), he could surpass that dude. Plus he's under contract for less than 2 million dollars a season for the next 3 seasons. When you account for that contract and his upside, it's not so cut and dried. Mitch and three for Davis is probably too good to deny though I admit, but I also think that won't get it done and when we start pumping even more assets in it gets more and more complicated.
