Have you seen him play in game? im not talking highlights. Most of his points come from Zion bulldozing to the basketball then dishing it out to him or chucking the ball during the last second. He is a lackluster lazy type of player. His ceiling is JR Smith or watered down Melo with the defensive capabilities.

Yall always gotta go with hyperbole, dude isn't lazy. If anything, he'd try to do too much at times considering he had Zion and Reddish out there among others. His problems were decision making and the shoddy jumper (I count decision making with some of his ugly moments at the rim).

Our front office is competent enough to see that and choose Garland over him but they've been favoring Reddish so I dunno.
cam is a potential sleeper.........trainers & scouts whispering about how his skillset was kept in the bagg

if nothing else he would fit with the mob.style squad fizz is building wingspan to defend can shoot he looks like a sleepwalker but the statline always seems to end up healthy at the end

stay the fukk away from rj i don't give a fukk if he's maple.jordan let him blow up somewhere else son got some of the most terrible tunnel vision ever seen forcing everything we already got enough of that ha

At least I don’t have to deal with the thought of trading Zion

Draft Barrett, trade him in a package for Davis in the summer after signing KD and Kyrie.

:blessed:

After this draft. I’m not so confident we will get any big time FA or trade for one. Nothing good ever go our way. So u better give up on your dream :yeshrug:

I'm going to put my layman's hat in the draft suggestion ring...

*Deep Breath*

I...believe we will draft RJ Barret and it will be a fukking success. I believe, with respect to actual output, Barrett will be a better final product than Kevin Knox.

I have an - albeit reckless - gut feeling that when it's all said and done, this will be looked at as a blessing. Within 5 years, Mitch Robinson & RJ Barrett will be a force. Not trying to take anything away from Knox, however.

I am excited to start next year w/ a lineup of ?, RJ Barrett, Knox, ?, Mitch Robinson.

Let's go NY.

I drown my sorrows in creative thread titles.

I'm going to start a hearing so I won't be able to actually create an Official Draft Watch/Offseason thread until later.

Love y'all.

We need to never forget...What makes us special is the actual pain, trials and tribulations of being a Knick Fam. We aren't a privileged bunch. nikkas will say we are cocky but honestly, we are probably one of the humblest of large franchise fan bases. We stay optimistic but for the most part stay in our lane. We try to be objective, but if outsiders come into the thread, we ether them.

A chip isn't our blessing. Our blessing will be, when it's all said and done, something we WILL be proud of without basing it on how many rings.

You could realistically have Kyrie (or Kemba, I got you fam)/Barrett/Knox/KD/Mitch - DSJ/Frank/Dot/Mario/DJ as the rotation (granted this is the absolute, everything goes perfectly scenario including DJ taking a highly unlikely pay cut imo). Trier could take any of DSJ/Frank's/Dot's spot too for the Frank sucks heads. Either way, if the miracle signings occur, that's a killer starting line-up and solid depth. That'd leave a killer starting unit followed by a bench unit that spent the majority of last season against starters developing some chemistry together. It's a pipedream but I love it.

I like Garland way more than Dennis Smith Jr. Would you trade DSJ for the suns 7th pick and draft garland?

Or do the suns tell us to kick rocks?
Or how about we get Frank the fukk up out of here especially if we’re getting another PG.

How many DNP - Coaches decision can this nikka get before we move on?

Teams aren't trading a top ten pick for Frank and DSJ has similarities to Morant plus more value. You deal Frank if you need capspace because his value is low; dealing DSJ is to try and bring back something useful beyond cap space.
