Skal is nice in the low post. And has the potential to develop into a 3 point threat, but his defensive IQ and awareness are lacking. The problem is he hasn't been given a legit chance to develop.

I hope we keep him through SL and maybe next season, but If an up and coming team wants to give him some burn that's cool.
Man I've watching Kanter for years,and I'm overall been impressed post Nurkic.
I don't put all my stock in him either, but we just need him to slow centers down and get boards.
We played a variety of different teams in final games post nurkic and was fairly consistent.
The blazers also throw a lot of help defense his way when he's outmatched or loses position. For example during the OKC series Kanter would slow down Adams while Harkless /Aminu sneak in for the block /steal on Adam's blindside.
Hell playing the way he is now, will land him a bigger contract then just stat sheet stuffing. I can't see him not getting a starting gig after this.
