All I hear about Knox's motor concerns me. I want a niigga with some dog in him. Who knows, maybe Fiz and his staff can be the ones to get it out of the niigga. I'm just leery of us passing on something that can help us down the road. We could use a cat like Bagley, Jaren Jackson Jr, or Bamba, which was why winning them extra games did not one lick of good.... :scust:

I'm assuming you're considering Burke/THJ as the starting backcourt to which I would respectfully disagree. I think Burke and THJ are redundant somewhat. Both are better scorers than playmakers and more effective with the ball in hand than playing off-ball. With KP out, that's not as big a deal because they can take turns attacking theoretically, but it doesn't work long term imo. Now if you shift Frank into a starting slot and turn one of those two (Burke and THJ) into a sixth man attacking player; now you have a player who can create his own offense on the floor pretty much all game long. Frank also defends better than either guy by a fairly wide margin, so you improve the defense against starting units and give Frank a chance to set the tone against the best perimeter player. Basketball is a pretty momentum heavy sport and breaking rhythm early can really set the tone all night. If you don't like Frank running pick and roll sets; both THJ and Burke can run it effectively enough that you really don't have to force it to him (but again, imo it's best to develop that skill in Frank so he can be a long term PG mismatch piece).

I’m not assuming the Knicks want to start the season with Burke as a starting point guard. If that happens it will signal we’re tanking and the season is a wash. Get another veteran in there and let him run the show. Go after Rondo if you have the chance. Have Burke come off the bench with Frank. They seem to play well together.

New coach, new system but same players. It’s putting lipstick on a pig and I don’t want Fiz to start his career with us like that.

If the Knicks came out of this draft with Frank/Brown/KP/Bamba as their future core :banderas:...just once I want one of those Danny Ainge "I made the offer as a joke and he accepted it" type deals for us.

I never doubted Reese after he picked hakeem nicks and Kenny p. Those were some of the more talented players I've ever (ever) seen (who didn't reach their full potential.) Odell is the most talented giant I've watched, no question (shout out to sehorn).( Then stray, osi is up there too), especially in a giants uniform.

I feel like the Knicks draft well (especially Isaiah years), unfortunately theyre as impatient as I am:russ: . I really like KP, his personality throws me off but he's a great talent. I won't doubt the Knicks whoever they choose:lolbron:

Breh, I love the trade, for us lol. But why would the wolves give up the 20th pick to only get Courtney Lee? They can probably get a player 12yrs younger and better than him with their 20th pick.

I really wish Perry would atleast call the grizzlies and see what it would take for them to give up the 4th pick. I’ll take parsons bad contract. It’s only 2yrs left, it ain’t like we’re a hot spot for max contract superstars. Griz can have our 9th pick a player to match contacts and our 2019 first pick (gotta be top 10 protected, because we need to target barret or cam reddish.

You can go into the 2019 season waiving noah and parsons and then you can target kyrie, kawhi and other free agents with a healthy KP, Bamba and Frank

Breh, that’s all smokescreen. I’ve heard rumors of big time free agents wanting to come to NY for years.

But I already said going into the 2019 season you can waive noah and parsons and clear up space for kawhi, kyrie or other players.

But next season is next. We need to worry about this 2018 season coming up. And if we can secure bamba, I’m all for it.

But what’s gonna happen if and when kawhi gets traded to the lakers and signs an extension?

i feel like more players would actually come here if we had cap space on a regular basis
we've had cap space for max free agents once or twice in the last 18 years

players are still intrigued about playing here despite us being trash, that means something

and we can't just waive 40 million dollars worth of contracts breh:dwillhuh:

I’d be lying if I knew how the waiving process works.

Once we waive noah or parsons. Does that mean we have 40 mil a yr to spend? Or how does that work?

1.i dont trust mills and hes gonna make the final decision
2. they might overthink the decision and gamble on someone they shouldn't
3.perrys draft history is meh
All true but I'm still optimistic because scouts that chose Porzingis are still here and everyone is saying that it's a deep draft so I'm hoping that whoever we go with won't be a bust.

However I am concerned that they like a guy that you have to teach to fight and show effort :francis: I would rather have to teach a player how to shoot and boxout than how to have a work ethic.
