I’d be lying if I knew how the waiving process works.

Once we waive noah or parsons. Does that mean we have 40 mil a yr to spend? Or how does that work?
another team has to pick up the contract. And no one in their right mind is picking up either of those contracts

If we let both their contract expire naturally, we will have cap space up the ass in 2020 (as long as we are smart)
But with the contracts both those players have, a buy out or a stretch would be the only real options. Stretch is a terrible idea and buying out both at the same time would be a shyt load of money that dolan aint paying.

Noah is a big enough problem right now, he wouldnt give up anything in a buy out. But theres still room to work somethin out possibly. Having both those bums is just too much

Hypothetically speaking, if you were able to trade Noah and Lee, don’t sign anyone this summer, and renounce everyone’s rights you could have the cap space to sign both Kyrie and Kawhi. But it’s risky cause you’d have to basically convince a shaky KP that you would be making him a free agent with the promise that after Kyrie and Kawhi were signed you’d give him the max and go over the cap to do it.

Knicks News: Enes Kanter Seeks Long-Term Contract to 'Feel More Secure'

MIAMI, FL - MARCH 21: Enes Kanter #00 of the New York Knicks handles the ball during the game against the Miami Heat on March 21, 2018 at American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida. New York Knicks center Enes Kanter can earn $18.6 million by exercising his player option for the 2018-19 season, but he told ESPN.com's Ian Begley that he's angling for long-term security with the start of free agency less than two weeks away.

"Obviously, I want to be here. It's just that I would feel better and feel more secure and feel more comfortable if I signed [a contract for] multiple, two or three whatever, years," Kanter told Begley on Saturday. "Think about it. Next year, if you get hurt, then what? I know you can't worry about it, but it's always in the back of your head like, 'Man, if I get hurt, what's going to happen?'"

Kanter hasn't revealed a decision—he has until June 29 to do so—but he has hinted that he'd like to opt out and re-sign with the Knicks as an unrestricted free agent.

"I didn't make any decisions in or out," Kanter told reporters in April. "When I say I want to make New York my home, there's no lie. I want to stay here long-term.

"I don't want to stay here one year and make a decision later. I want to stay here for long term. That's the decision with my agent. I told everybody I want to retire as a Knick. I understand it's a business, but I told everybody I want to make New York my home."

The Oklahoma City Thunder traded Kanter to the Knicks last September. He averaged 14.1 points and 11.0 rebounds while shooting 59.2 percent from the field across 71 starts in his first year in the Big Apple.

Breh, I love the trade, for us lol. But why would the wolves give up the 20th pick to only get Courtney Lee? They can probably get a player 12yrs younger and better than him with their 20th pick.

I really wish Perry would atleast call the grizzlies and see what it would take for them to give up the 4th pick. I’ll take parsons bad contract. It’s only 2yrs left, it ain’t like we’re a hot spot for max contract superstars. Griz can have our 9th pick a player to match contacts and our 2019 first pick (gotta be top 10 protected, because we need to target barret or cam reddish.

You can go into the 2019 season waiving noah and parsons and then you can target kyrie, kawhi and other free agents with a healthy KP, Bamba and Frank

Lee is a Thibodeau kind of player....good defender, glue guy that can knock down the 3. He's needed more now that Jamal opted out.

I want Bamba

Knicks receives 4th pick (Knicks), 20th pick (Timberwolves),Chandler Parsons

Memphis receives 9th pick (Memphis),Lance Thomas, Ron Baker, Cole Aldrich

Minnesota receives Courtney Lee, 36th pick (Knicks)

4th pick Mohamed Bamba
20th pick Troy Brown

The 20th would come to us my bad. Philly among other teams have a myriad number of second round picks. Maybe we can buy one.
