Say we draft Wendell Carter at 9... what would you guys want to see done at the 3 position next season? Roll out Lee again? Is Hezonja the only wing out there to buy low on?

If Lee is still on the roster at the start of next season that'd be pretty disappointing in and of itself

Split up the time at 3 b/w Dotson & Troy Will. Spot mins can go to LT depending on match ups.

Pretty meh on Hezonja, but if the price is right sure why not take a flyer on him :yeshrug:

I wanna see us draft the kid Knox but i do agree that we have to players at their natural position, Hardaway Jr and Lee to be specific

I dont mind seeing Frank at the 2 sometimes and its not a bad idea for him to get some time at both guard positions especially if we were to add Kyrie Irving to our roster after this upcoming season

Man, if we get Miles at 3 and Tim/Dotson at 2, that's gonna be a lowkey problem. Only thing is, I like Burke but I wanna see Frank at his full potential.

But Mudiay and Baker just :scust:

I think we can acquire another good big later on in the draft but we need a SF/PF while KP plays C.

Very true, but both are expiring contracts next season so :yeshrug:

Good point abt Miles, he is a bit undersized for the three. I know small ball is the wave but an avg size SG, undersized 3 and no true PF sounds like a recipe for some really ugly basketball :scusthov:

A Trey Burke/Courtney Lee backcourt compliments itself really well...so does a Frank/THJ backcourt. Offense/Defense combos who operate offensively in different areas of the floor and you only have one ball dominant player in each tandem.

:ehh:

If we aren't able to move Lee before the season, there are some positives to him being on the roster. He's solid on both sides of the ball, efficient, low-key and very professional. Good vet for the kids to learn from, but 25 mill over the next two seasons is a hefty price to pay for veteran leadership. And he plays at a position where most of the youth is concentrated; much rather his mins go to Dotson as early as possible.

I'd love to get some compensation for Lee but I also think he's a candidate to increase in value at the deadline or as an expiring. He's got the talent and game of a nice glue piece that a playoff hungry team might jump on for a good value back, especially as there's less time to commit to paying him. I definitely want to see Dotson get burn and I think he might have a better shot working at SF short term while the logjams get cleaned up. He's the same height with two inches of reach on Lee and he seems like he has a bulkier build to deal with size. If we don't come away with a wing at 9; there's not a lot of options in FA. So having Troy and Dotson man that spot would make some sense and get two youngsters minutes. But a lot of this will have to bare out in the draft so we can have a clearer view of position openings.

im hearing a lot of chatter about kyrie to the knicks :patrice: what do we have that boston would wannt?
That would be the most fukking dumb move by this organization.

I'm a year with an injured KP, gutting the team for an injured Kyrie a year before he could be resigned.:picard:
