If the Knicks move up I want it to be for Bamba. He has all the tools to defend perimeter players and stretch the floor. You don't need a small ball line up if your big can do all of that. Bamba's upside is freaky, missing out on that would suck.

In terms of assets, I don't think the Knicks have enough to move up without eating a bad contract.

Untouchables:
KP
Next years pick.

High value:
Frank

Moderate value:
this year's second rounder from the Bulls.

Marginal Value:
Dotson
Lee

That's it really.

Knox got that Tim Thomas motor/vibe to him when I saw him play. His measurements, tools and age all show room for him to become a very good player; but you have to trust that Fiz will bring out the best in him...I'm more inclined toward either of the two Bridges cats or one of the freak athlete SG's if we pick a wing at 9 but I can see why Knox is gaining momentum. There's a ton of upside in that pick.

Knox would be a great value pick b/w 12-15 range, @ 9 he's a bit of a reach.

Exactly how I feel. I'm not mad if we come away with Knox and take that risk. It has a Frank feel to it, flashes of big potential but a clear work in progress; perfect for a tank year. BUT, I'd be disappointed if we settled on picking him at 9 without doing serious diligence looking at trade down options. Even if we ended up at 15 and Knox got grabbed; there will be a ton of intriguing talent still around and especially at the wing.

I'm listening to lockedonknicks podcast report card on Trey Burke and I'm really excited tonsee stretches where we see

Burke, Frank, Timmy, Mikal, Oquinn kineup
And later on Burke, Frank, Timmy, Mikal, KP lineups.

In short periods, that'll be something exciting to see.

Just keep the cornrolls, Trey:wow:

Frank, Dotson, Mikal, KP, KOQ is low key the one I'm most hype for. Wreaking chaos as a defensive unit right there, not one negative sum defender.
