I hope we tank and get Zion then clear cap space with Kanter, trade Timmy, waive Baker, trade Burke and acquire a new starting PG, SG and SF. Hopefully Kawhi and Rozier is part of that deal. Getting KD is a pipe dream so my realistic lineup would be Rozier, Knox, Kawhi, Zion/Vonleh, KP/Mitch.

Frank would be a 3rd string behind Mudiay or we'll have the 1 and 5 and get a nice young PG from the draft.

Only reason why he might get a little more heat than everyone else is number 1 he was a lottery pick. We went through a whole season of losing to aquire this dude. Trier was underrated and DOT! wasn't even picked in the first round.

Frank was the number 8 pick in the NBA draft averaging 8 points in his second season.

All I will say is I wish him the best.

True. Do you see him as the full time starter :lupe:?

I don't think Fiz will give him that opportunity.
Mitch already has started 10 games.

As long as he get his weight up he's our center of the future imo.

All these quotes say Frank isn't NBA ready offensively. :francis:

His play has proven that. Send that man to the G-League. :shaq2:

Charlotte and Miami definitely would have been better spots for his development than here. :scust:

I know nobody wants to see a top 10 pick go to the G-League but it could actually be good for Ntlikina. To gain consistent reps at PG and build confidence against lower level competition. He was labeled a "project" and is only 20 so I don't see the harm, it's a good spot for development.

We've tried him on and off ball, at PG and at SF, we gave him the opportunity to start the first 10+ games of the season and play up to 30+ minutes. It just isn't working out he's benched now, 7 points, 3.4 assists, 34% FG, 28%, 3PT, -10.4 offense in 25 minutes per game, we know the numbers ain't pretty. He just isn't an NBA caliber PG offensively right now.

What y'all think? :mjpls:
He should, hes not gonna get better on offense if hes constantly overwhelmed and it feels like thats the case currently. Let him play some weaker comp and force him to be the "man" there. He needs some confidence bad, and tbh a stint in the g league last year wouldve did him some good. Getting sent to the G league isnt necessarily an insult imo....

Have we even won a game with Mudiay as PG yet?:hhh:

All I read in here was the most typical impatient new york fan shyt I've ever read
a nikka crowning mudiay as a future point guard over frank. I'm convinced people have a pea brained assessment on basketball.

I think letting him go to the G league makes more sense than Fizdale benching him for more time for Mudiay to stink it up:manny:

Na, keep him for the year and make him the leader of the tank process. If he sucks by the summer, ditch him and acquire a new rookie. A guy at 6'6, 6'7 should not ever be that passive unless you're extremely overrated like Ben Simmons.

Knox doesn't get the ball passed to him enough and he needs to learn how to move without the ball instead of waiting for that perimeter shot, get more points under the rim, get rebounds and follow through. He should create his own shot instead of waiting for someone to pass it out to him.

Mitch is progressively getting better, no complaints there. Vonleh is good. Mudiay has improved compared to what we have, sorry to say it. Dotson could easily replace Hardaway for less money, Trier needs to be ISO 6th man with a bum bench. Kanter is just a placeholder, he's complacent but once KP comes back, do we really need him? I really wish we still had Hermangomez instead of him. I see so much potential in next year's team and forward.

Fiz is doing a great job despite contrary belief. He's taking a high school/ freshman college basketball team and making them believe in themselves. No matter what coach we have, you can't turn poop into diamonds.

It's really this simple. We have him and he's cost controlled, he doesn't need to go to the G-League for reps as long as Fiz can find him 20-30 mpg with the pro's. If he's not showing progressing as the year closes there will be GMs that look at a 20 year old with high level defense at multiple positions who think a change of scenery and philosophy can bring him up to speed offensively. The worst case scenario is he keeps struggling and we get a better draft pick.

Franks fault.

Guess who has the worst net rating at -10.5 :krs:

Is it all his fault? Obviously not this isn't a very good team but we expect strides from our second year guard. We expect more from our number 8 overall pick, we didn't lose all them damn games for this. :shaq2:
