Absolutely agreed.

I think in the role you described, Tim could be a Middleton lite with playmaking ability when necessary.

I really think it would be a headache for opposing teams to try to stop an offense with Frank and Timmy in constant off ball movement, KP getting first dibs in the high post and Knox being given the keys to create.
Middleton is a nice playmaker, much better defender, and he's one of the best wings at posting up.

As trash as he may be defensively, I really love how Hezonja cuts relentlessly. He does it even better than Bazemore and he's a great finisher at the rim

Zo's isolation moves don't seemed forced and they come off kind of within the flow of the game. Isolation ball isn't necessarily bad if it's mixed in with ball movement.

It probably helps make passing the ball more effective if you occasionally lull defenders to sleep with some ISO play.

The thing about Trier is he doesn’t really force the issue. After that first monster game in NY i thought he come out chucking and he was pretty quiet for a handful of games. He picks his spots a lot bette than he did in summer league even.
Wally made a great point about him in the post game about why he looks so much better than he did in college. Basically that some guys thrive off space that being around elite players can provide. That’s not the case in college or the summer league even.

I really like Bol Bol, Naz Reid, and Zion...but with the way Mitch is playing drafting another big man might be out the window.

We should be able to land one of the wings in this draft (Barrett, Reddish, Langford, Little, Grimes, Wilks).

The international combo forwards Rui Huchimura and Sekou Doumbaya worth a look even though we have Knox.

Zo's isolations have two aspects that I think set him apart from most of the iso scorers in the league. First is that he's really good at changing speeds in an explosive manner. Heads will think I'm crazy, but it's a bit Tony Parker-like (in this regard ONLY). He's hit a hesitation into a cross over to get into the lane than use a second hesitation to let the second line of defense make their decisions before he explodes on reaction. Once his man is on his back, he's just really good at picking between full throttle or slowing down a tick.

Second and probably most important is how strong he is as a finisher. That's ultra rare for a rookie and even rare for NBA players in general. Dude can drive into contact and bump guys off of him so that he can get his pull-up jumper or bank a lay-up in space. With the rules how they are, he's gonna get to the line all day off of that style of attacking. It's like a finesse player at the first level (those speed changes and crossovers) that transforms into a power finisher at the second. We may have found a straight up gem.

Also his defense has improved a LOT from summer league and preseason.

Spot on observation. He chains his combos and moves together the same way you do when you play 2K.

You reach, he teach.

We've been linked to him in the past, dude also lives in Brooklyn.

Last year we took more inefficient midrange shots than anyone, so far this year we're 19th in 3PT% and 15th in 3PT makes. I don't see how it would hurt to pick up Redikk, one of the best shooters ever on a short term deal off the bench. He is a beast off-ball with the dribble handoffs and he stays in peak physical condition. He's been killing it so far this year (18 per game, 40% 3PT on 9.2 attempts off the bench). You also talking about who been to the Finals, a true playoff vet. With KP, Redikk, Timmy we would have some true floor spacers.

You laughing so who do you propose? Y'all nikkas only think about high profile signings and never look at under the radar deals.

Besides KD, what free agents makes sense with this roster next year?

The thing with this team is it’s versatility. You can make a case that any position besides center is a good fit for this team. So Kemba, Klay, Khris, Kawhi, Jimmy all would be great fits. And i think you can still draft Zion and be fine.

I don’t see any of those guys coming here outside of maybe Kemba or Jimmy

We have to be more realistic :ld:
