One thing's for sure. Knox is going to have to fight for his minutes because NV, Zo, DD, and Mitch aint fukking around out there.
Just thinking the same thing. The young guns are flat out ballin.

Fiz got these kids confidence through the roof and it started when he put them against GS starting lineup. They truly believe they can compete with anyone now, and I think they can too. imagine a healthy KP coming back, plus Knox developing and max cap space opportunity.

Yeah at first I was like why pick GS to start, but he did that intentionally as a vote of confidence. And they hung in there too.

Shrewd move by Fiz.

looks like perry was bein honest about improvin our scouting department. gettin mitch late and trier undrafted is lookin very impressive

On the low the Knicks have had good scouting since they fukked up on Jordan Hill.

Shumpert
Mozgov
Timmy
KP
Frank
Mitch
Trier
Knox
Fields

Even before that they did pretty damn well with guys like Chandler, Ariza, Frye, and Gallo. I remember an article I read a few years ago the Knicks were among the best at drafting people who stuck to the league past their rookie contracts.

The problem is the a$$holes didn't have any picks or had pick switches going on for like a decade. So they never really had a chance to draft high.

With that said the Knicks should look to see if they can unload some of their expirings for a late first.

He had one of the nastiest dunks last season though

Clifford don’t play rookies and was playing MCW over him. He’s playing much better this year.

:lolbo: But they both PG's and DSJ was the better player......

The Mavs were just hustling the Knicks when they tried to move up to get Frank and hired his former coach to build around him......

It’s saturday, y’all know the hangover got my recap limited but brief notes from a great performance:

- Frank and DSJ kinda lived up to their reputations. Smith Jr was the clear superior scorer by a lot and Frank was the superior player at every other facet of basketball but most notably as a playmaker and defender. I’m glad he kept shooting last night too, even though he couldn’t buy a bucket.

- Mitch might be a rapid growth player. From that soft spoken post draft interviewing to chewing out Tim Hardaway for lazy defense in under 10 games! It’s good to see that when Vonleh had foul trouble we got an uptick in Mitch rebounding too.

- Mario was getting into the lane at will whether he had the ball or not. Looked like he broke a brick and got a super star out of it. He has weird three point shot selection for sure but there’s been flashes lately.

- Mudiay was a pleasant surprise. If he can hit the pull up from midrange than all that cross court action from the wings will be great for him. Next let’s see him finish some lay ups...

- Lance was bad, Burke needs touches or he’s invisible, Kanter’s activity was better but the flaws are clear.

- allonzo Trier though! Maybe next time we’re clinging to a lead in the fourth we should let him alleviate some of the pressure on Tim Hardaway. Also, he low key had a very solid defensive game against some talented wings after a shaky first half.

- Dot was second on the team in rebounding with 8 boards y’all. I think his skillset is a perfect compliment for KP and Knox who are both iffy rebounders that operate best with spacers nearby.

- Fiz gets a B+ on this one. It’s not an A bc that one point with mudiay, Burke, Trier, hezonja and kanter out there. Sure there was foul trouble but that’s a horrifying defensive unit. Everything else was good though.

Nah, it’s specifically for him. I think Tim got the green light too.

Fiz definitely has favorites.
The team needed a go to scorer, Fiz is challenging hardaway to be that guy, that's where his green light comes from.

Trier is strictly a gamer, but he isn't doing traditional isos where everyone standing around like the audience. His moves are quick and normal it involves attacking the rim. Fiz favorite is clearly Mudiay. he want him to be good so bad.
